Blue Sail Inn

This is where I always stay, it is close to everything I love about Morro Bay.

Superb

The hotel was accessible to many restaurants and few minutes to the wharf. walkable. The description of the room says oceanview but our room was blocked by a big tree that we couldn’t see the Morro Rock which is why I got the room in the first place.

The room was clean, bed comfortable, check in very friendly. I'd only ask the bar of soap be bigger than a 50 cent piece. Otherwise will definitely stay here again.

We have stayed at the Blue Sail Inn several times over the years and have always enjoyed our time there. It has a unique location, with the balcony views being prime and what we look forward to the most. It may be showing some age here & there but it's still maintained very well. The room was clean, the staff friendly & helpful. We will be back again for sure.

nice location, parking is plenty, easy access to the dinning and walk to attractions, there is a microwave and a fridge in the room, everything is good.

The view of Morro Bay is beautiful from the 2nd & 3rd floor rooms .

We like the convenient, walkable location and the clean rooms. Being next door to Dorn's is a plus, too. We've come twice now; both times the experience was excellent.

The front desk person who checked us in was very sweet and helpful. Amazing location, lots of restaurant options within a 5 minute walk. The only reason we wouldn’t stay here again is because there’s no air conditioning ☹️

Our stay was amazing and wonderful. All thanks to the beautiful acccommodations and helpful staff at Blue Sail Inn. Very clean, beautiful view and will definitely stay at Blue Sail Inn again in the future!

I love how hotel in middle. I met staff name Lisa and she signs a little was great help. She friendly ! And staff in morning ask if we wanted her take picture . Everything was clean.

Exceptional

Location and staff were nice. The accessible room (shower situation mostly) that we did not request was awkward with a toddler and we were quite hot because there was no AC.

The hotel staff were friendly, helpful, and made the stay pleasant. The balcony view was beautiful and was the highlight of the room. However, the room itself was disappointing. The dresser that housed the mini fridge was in poor condition, and the wooden cabinet door covering the fridge was loose and kept swinging open. The overall cleanliness could have been much better. I also found what appeared to be a silverfish on the bed, which was very concerning. With better maintenance and improved housekeeping, this hotel could offer a much better experience.

Lisa at the front desk was amazing! The room was clean and the view was good. I was unaware there was no AC in any of the rooms. There was no information on this online. Also, the breakfast…. Might as well not serve it at all. You get fed like a child, it was honestly a bit insulting how much I spent on the room. This is something that should be described in the booking details. They have you pick between milk, apple juice or orange juice. No fresh coffee. And the options were for food, string cheese, apple sauce, a Cinnabon, or a muffin. It isn’t fresh. Definitely not a place you would relax in your room, it’s a place you go out and do and eat out for breakfast is a must.
