The Landing at Morro Bay

Old style, old school hotel. Probably would stay elsewhere upon return. Town is great

Love this place. We stay here a lot and this was the first time something went wrong. Our bathroom was flooded. Immediately was given a new room. The problem? Ice machine was outside the door. People started filling ice chest at 6am.

Great place. View is great. Beds not so great.

Expedia lists this property with a light continental breakfast but they do not offer that amenity

Very clean property. Very centrally located which makes its great to walk up and down the Marina.

This was my second time staying at this property. The fire pit area has been improved and is relaxing to sit by in the evening. 2nd and 3rd floors have ocean/partial views. I recommend not getting a room by the stairs. Otherwise, this is a clean great place conveniently located next to town.

Basic motel. Looks recently remodeled. Clean. Comfy bed. No amenities.

We were late arriving on site after a long drive and got one of the last rooms available - which accommodated the party of five easily. Pleasantly surprised at the size and the well presented room. Great location to explore the Morro beach.

The lock on our door didn’t work and the maintenance man had to climb through the window, but it was repaired after about 30 minutes. Other than that, it was fine. Location was great and we really enjoyed the fire pits. The downside: the walls are paper thin and there were also noisy pipes or something that kept us awake through the night. Also, there was no soap in the shower and no lotion available, just a tiny hand soap by the sink. I suggest bringing some, and if you’re selective about shampoo, etc., bring your own.

This hotel is nicely updated and in a fantastic location. We had a great view from our room. Our room was clean and the staff were very friendly and helpful. Can’t wait for our next stay.

The restaurants, stores, and rentals are all in walking distance. Beaches are also close. Everybody seems happy in Morro Bay.

The Landing is perfectly located for walk ability to the Embarcadero and downtown. Prices are very reasonable given location and quality. We never moved our car after we arrived! The entire property has clearly been remodeled and updated recently. Rooms are spacious, comfortable and well-appointed. We are already planning our next stay!
