The Landing at Morro Bay

We were late arriving on site after a long drive and got one of the last rooms available - which accommodated the party of five easily. Pleasantly surprised at the size and the well presented room. Great location to explore the Morro beach.

The lock on our door didn’t work and the maintenance man had to climb through the window, but it was repaired after about 30 minutes. Other than that, it was fine. Location was great and we really enjoyed the fire pits. The downside: the walls are paper thin and there were also noisy pipes or something that kept us awake through the night. Also, there was no soap in the shower and no lotion available, just a tiny hand soap by the sink. I suggest bringing some, and if you’re selective about shampoo, etc., bring your own.

This hotel is nicely updated and in a fantastic location. We had a great view from our room. Our room was clean and the staff were very friendly and helpful. Can’t wait for our next stay.

The restaurants, stores, and rentals are all in walking distance. Beaches are also close. Everybody seems happy in Morro Bay.

The Landing is perfectly located for walk ability to the Embarcadero and downtown. Prices are very reasonable given location and quality. We never moved our car after we arrived! The entire property has clearly been remodeled and updated recently. Rooms are spacious, comfortable and well-appointed. We are already planning our next stay!

Place was clean and pet friendly. Staff was annoyed when asked questions about fire pits. Early check was extra charge. Some places wave on a non busy day. Not the landing.

This was one of my favorite stays on our trip. The room was spacious, exceptionally clean with cute little “marine life” detail throughout the room. The only complaint is we had some trouble with the TV signal. Instead of a coffee machine they have tools to make pour-over coffee , which, if you’re a coffee lover, you know this is the best way to enjoy coffee! I loved that we had a great view of the rock! The doors of all the unit have a view of the rock with glass doors. The Inn is walking distance to shops and restaurants. A perfect place to stay.
