Candlewood Suites Charleston Mt Pleasant by IHG

i like the location

Stayed here many times when my son was at the Citadel. That was 20 plus years ago when it was Mainstay Suites. Now it is Candlewood and the upgrade is awesome. Everything was top notched. No, there is no breakfast bar nor is there a pool. But the free coffee was excellent. But I would still there again. I love clean and the staff was extremely helpful and friendly.

Very dirty, ants in the room, humid rooms

We stayed a week at the candlewood suites and it was a very nice experience. The hotel was exceptionally clean and quiet. The grounds were very nice. The staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful. We absolutely loved the complimentary washer and dryer for the guests. The price was extremely reasonable. We highly recommend the candlewood suites in Mount Pleasant

The location was perfect, the accommodations/room was comfortable and clean. The staff was amazing and all our activities were in close proximity to the hotel. NO issues.

My experience was great. The staff was nice. Room was clean. I was surprised by how nice and comfy the bed was. I found parking right up front. It was just an over night trip, but I will definitely be coming back. No breakfast. I actually was looking for breakfast.

Perfect homebase for a several day stay to visit Charleston and other surrounding areas. Very, very clean! Good fridge, stovetop, microwave, toaster, dishwasher, pots/pans, etc. The hotel has complimentary delicious coffee and pleasant outdoor seating area out back. Complimentary laundry room was a bonus! Staff: excellent. The bed was extremely firm. In room 118, the shower faucet is backwards: toward the “red” is cold and the “blue” is hot. But if you figure that out, all is well.

The hotel was nice and clean with a good location but I checked out on March 16,3026 and it's now April 4th and they will not release my deposit. I have called multiple times and they will not resolve the issues. Do NOT stay at this property unless you want to be scammed out of $100!

Everything went well from the staff to the room. We will be back.
