Candlewood Suites Charleston Mt Pleasant by IHG

Location was perfect. Room was spacious and offered a full kitchen. Bed was comfortable. No breakfast but they do offer coffee and tea. Parking is limited but they do offer parking across the street - which wasn’t really a big deal and it is well lit.

As far as this hotel, it was a great example of an IHG Candlewood Suites. Clean room, someone at the desk 24/7, free laundry machines, kitchenette. Service for 2 is provided in the King Studio suite, along with a small frying pan, medium cooking pot, and medium-to-large saucepan. Apartment sized full size fridge with freezer and ice maker. I stay at these when I travel for work each week, I can cook my own food when I get sick of eating out all the time. They also have some things like a crockpot you can ask to use at the front desk

We really liked the kitchen in the room. We were very pleased to find dishes and cutlery provided. The room was spotlessly clean. Free parking. Wonderful staff. A great location—close to everything. The only thing missing was a cutting board.

close to downtown, grocery stores. Complimentary coffee in the lobby, complimentary laundry. Basic food and snacks for purchase in the lobby. Basic gym. Very clean. Stove top was half broken. Same with the shower.

The location is very convenient. Facilities are clean and the staff are friendly. We had a room facing a pond out back, which made for a nice view. I wish our suite had been a bit bigger with more of a sitting area. Also, the placement of the microwave directly across from the bed made it super bright all night.

Hotel was clean. Staff was very friendly and attentive. Excellent location for getting to downtown Charleston. TV intermittently froze up. This is very disturbing. Shortage of adequate parking at the hotel. Must cross a street to park in a lot belonging to another hotel.

The staff was amazing and very friendly and helpful. The facilities were also excellent and made for a very enjoyable stay. This was our third time staying here, which says a lot about how much we enjoy the hotel overall. Unfortunately, the internet continues to be extremely slow, and the TV service lags horribly to the point where you can barely watch a show. This has been the exact same issue during all three of our stays. We really enjoy this hotel, but please fix the internet and TV service because it would make an already great experience even better.

The atmosphere was very quiet and the rooms were clean and pretty. The staff were very sweet and they would greet you every time they see you. I recommend you give it a try you won’t be disappointed 😊

Number one for me is cleanliness. It was very clean and the staff was great. The kitchen was a bonus. We would stay here again.
