Extended Stay America Suites Charleston Mt Pleasant

It’s located conveniently. It’s clean. We also like that the rooms are on the inside. No outside entry. The front desk staff was awesome!! Randy & Renard were wonderful!!

This property is very dated, the bathtub was chipped. The bed was uncomfortable. There was someone living in their car in the parking lot, and there seemed to be a certain amount of guests living there somewhat permanently. If you’re looking for lowest cost, this is it, but don’t expect much.

Location was good for where we were staying. It was even clean.. but roaches everywhere. The only thing the staff said about it was they bug bomb every 2 weeks no discounted rate or anything else I was very displeased with that answer. There were roaches everywhere and I told the staff and the only thing they said is they spray every two weeks no discounted rate or anything had to bring my clothes home and leave everything outside bring them in wash and dry everything immediately had to bug bomb my car to make sure there was no roaches in it

Our air conditioning kept turning off all night so the room was stuffy and gross smelling. Our room was not the cleanest. We checked in and not even an hour later our door opened because they thought it was vacant... but we just checked in? The check in process was chaotic but he was new...so that isnt his fault. They offer carts for luggage but the doors are manual so I'm not sure how they think thats helpful for guests. All the elevator buttons were sticking and it was super sketch. The trash room was disgusting. The entire hotel smelled weird. Almost like air conditioning (or lack thereof) was a major contributor. We will not be staying here again.

Had broken room door, weird sticky room floor, repulsive smell. No ice machine while close to the beach. Claim have breakfast with nothing but coffee and couple of donuts and no tables or chairs!!

Reported all this to management with video proof. She admitted they have pest problems and said she would report to upper management. I will never book Extended Stay America again. No remedy was offered.

Roaches everywhere! I found one in the bed & demanded a refund. Beware staying here! Disgusting

Roaches. Overpriced. Not good for an overnight stay.

Hotel needs a serious update.

Bad

Hotel is good, located in a good area, many spots around it. My AC was leaking water but it worked, room itself was clean. I did see 2 roaches in my room. Didn’t interact with staff as much but when I did it was cool people. Nothing bad to say in general.

Hotel is a bit tired but satisfactory but staff are excellent.
