Quality Inn Mount Vernon

Staff was helpful and room was clean.

The room was dirty and everything smelled musty, the toilet squealed every time it flushed, there were stains in the bathtub, the room was very tight with the layout, and it was super loud at all hours of the night. The only saving grace was the pool/hot tub area was quiet and seemed well maintained.

Had a great stay. The motel was conveniently located to where we needed to be on this trip.

Room 312 smells like someone had been smoking in it. Hair dryer sparked fire when turned on and not working. Bath towel is in shortage, only 2 in the bath when we got 4 people and front desk don't have any more because they are still in the washer. Hand towels were not in the bathroom and we had to ask the front desk for them. The location can be noise because it's right next to the freeway. Overall not a good experience staying there.

The best aspects of the Quality Inn at Mount Vernon were 1) clean bathroom, 2) comfortable beds, and 3) very good breakfast. Air conditioning was also very good and the staff was helpful.

When I got there, there was no silverware. There was a dirty butter knife in the drawer. I called a couple times for Service to have the bed made and new towels and never received any service.

The location was unpleasant. Room was very, very dated. Bleak view out the window. Adjacent to noisy highway. Super bright light outside the window that you can't completely block out.

Room was very spacious and clean.

Staff was nice, room was clean-ish. Just very smelly. Breakfast was minimal, no milk for the cereal which was a bummer.

The room had fleas. Housekeeping never bothered to clean the room. Staff was not very helpful.

When we arrived to check in, we were greeted not by a staff member, but by a typed out sign on the counter that read, “Be right back in 10 minutes.” We, along with two other guests waiting to check in, were left standing there with no greeting or acknowledgment. Before checking out, we stopped by the breakfast area to see what was available. Unfortunately, it was another letdown. If you enjoy making your own waffles and biscuits with gravy, it may meet your expectations. However, we were hoping for a more complete breakfast with options like fresh fruit, bacon, or sausage, none of which were offered. Normally, I wouldn’t take the time to write such a detailed review. However, after being harassed and asked three separate times to leave feedback, I felt compelled to share our honest experience. I sincerely hope others have a much better stay than we did. The pool was not working. Not a good experience

Traveling solo and I felt really safe here. Really friendly and helpful staff. Very clean spacious, comfortable room. Spotless attractive dining room with a lovely hot breakfast and good coffee. Great location. I’d definitely stay again.

Grounds were not up kept. Room was not clean. Door did not close all the way. Hotel is in disrepair. Garbage left overflowing.

The room smelled of smoke, there were wet spots on the floor, and piles of dirt in the bathroom

Payed for 2 nights - Friday and Saturday night When I got back to hotel Saturday night my key did not work, went to front desk who told me someone was in that room-I said I’d yes me! That had given the room to someone else and removed my belongings. I reminded them of paying for 2 nights. I asked why no one called me they had no answer. Never stayed at hotel were your belongings are removed from room without authorization.
