Wingate by Wyndham Mount Vernon

I was visiting family in town and needed a hotel with close proximity to a gym as well as in town for visiting my relatives. This hotel had both. It is right next-door to a nice gym. They have a pass arrangement so I used it each day and that was very helpful. They have a delicious included breakfast with eggs and sausage and potatoes and fruit and oatmeal and yogurt. The staff was very friendly and helpful. I would stay here again when I return to visit relatives.

The air vent on the 3rd floor was so loud in the hall it was hard to hear someone walking beside you. The convention center next door played music until 11:30pm that I was unable to drown it out even with a white noise machine turned all the way up. There were two dirty washcloths hanging on top of my shower curtain from the previous guests when I walked in the room.

Filthy. Dirty carpets, dusty surfaces with food residue, dirty bathroom. Dirty toilet and bathtub. Hair in bathtub. Disgusting place to stay.

Location was good Dirty. Room did not appear clean at all. Carpets dirty. Smelled bad.

It was okay Area was a little small it worke. I had someone from management bang on our door then used a pass key to unlock the door. That person could not speak English.

Nothing. Our first room was a king bed with a pull out couch for our son. We had a late night and as I was getting the pull out ready for him, I unfolded it to find sheets with blood. I called the front desk asking that they move us for the night. They did, but I didn’t want to stay any longer than necessary in a place that doesn’t clean the sheets. So I asked for refund for our second night and was treated rudely by the manager. I’m still waiting on the resolution of this mess. There were exposed wires everywhere. It was dirty. The elevator smelled like pee. There was water damage in the second room they gave us.

Clean room’s Breakfast sausage was terrible

Checked out after 3 hours, despite losing $300.00. Thought I was going to be ill. Smelled gross and was super sketchy.

We were in town for a soccer tournament. When we first walked in there was a smell of cigars which the staff knew because when we walked in the windows were cracked wide open. The screen on the window wasn't even attached. Well it was hanging off. There were wet spots on the carpet, hair in the sinks and in the fridge You can tell that the room was not vacuumed. There was all dried up chicken bones of some sort by the door like if they were pushed with the vacuum.yet the room wasn't vacuumed. The sheets were stains. It literally look like our room was not cleaned. But considering we were in town for a soccer tournament, we were exhausted. I did message the property owner that the room was not cleaned and no response. We arrive on breakfast right when they opened and everything was already cold.

The floor in the entrance are of the room is cracked under the vinyl planks. There were hair in the tub, the bed was extremely soft, like worn out soft. Big spill stain on wall beside the entrance. I am usually not fuzzy, but that was bad.

Not happy with the new owners decreasing the tv channels. Don’t have any local news tv stations anymore. Not very nice without being able to see what’s going on or weather

The pool was all locked up my kids couldn’t go in at all they are adults but the room was clean except there was a daddy long leg in the bathtub the front desk person barely talked to me when was checking in we were the only ones there

Staff was hospitable, helpful, and friendly. Breakfast was great.

Place could use some renovation and cleaning. Good breakfast
