Many little repairs, broken lamp, exhaust on bathroom, etc. same all over building. Sound proofing is horrible and you’re listening to conversations you don’t want to hear. Ice machine ancient. Etc. I work in hotel industry and would not return

We had a little issue trying to find the rooms at first. We assumed they were on the outer part of the building so after driving around a few times, we finally went in and saw that our rooms were right by the indoor pool. When we first walked into one of the rooms, we immediately noticed that the ceiling fell through, the bathroom wasn't cleaned, and the floors were warped and chipping away (I'm assuming water damage from the indoor pool). The staff was very quick to clean up the mess from the ceiling and bathroom. In the other room, there was a used bandaid on the floor by the bed, some of the bed covers were dirty, and the bathroom door wouldn't shut properly. We had mentioned it to one of the employees but I don't think it was ever fixed (I ended up not staying so I'm not sure if they did anything about that). The kids loved the indoor pool. They would have stayed in there the whole time if they could🤣 I was a little disappointed that that had a shallow and deep end in the pool. If the kids accidentally go past the line then they could This rating is from 2 adults and 5 kids who all rated from 1-5⭐.

My problem was not about my stay. They get a poor rating for the info I was given when trying to rebook another stay with my son & his service dog!!! They charge a higher rate for the disability/handicap accessible rooms. On the website it says an additional “pet fee” but when you get there they do not accept “pets”! They allow “service animals” but limit you to those handicapped rooms only. So essentially you are forced to pay a higher rate for a room when you don’t need a handicapped accessible room because not every “Service Dog” is for someone with a “physical” disability!!! They also tried to tell me that my son’s “service dog” was not a “service dog” for this trip after I already paid. My son carries the proper documentation and we were willing to show it, but dude at the front desk didn’t want to see it. “Service Dogs” can be trained for things like Autism, severe Anxiety, Hypoglycemia, Balance disorders even PTSD! That does not make the dog the “emotional support” dog the hotel guy was thinking. Definitely not appropriate or appreciated! This hotel has now lost my business!

This is typically our “go-to” place to stay when we visit back home. After this stay we may choose another hotel in the area. Normally everything is perfect but started off they “overbooked” the poolside rooms-which is what we requested and paid for. The first night we were given an upstairs room (I have bad knees and there’s no elevator). We got up the stairs to our room to find it occupied by someone already, luckily they had the security lock engaged. Went back down stairs to the front desk and was given an outside room. The next afternoon we were switched to a poolside room but the ceiling tile above the closet was missing and the shower wall had hair on it. I was disgusted. Time to find a new place to stay.
