Holiday Inn Express & Suites Salt Lake City South - Murray by IHG

The rooms were nice, but the front staff was not the friendliest. Also why did I have to pay a $100 deposit? Isnt that why there is a card on file. Also why can they take it out immediaty but it takes 3 to 5 buainess days to come back?

Breakfast was terrible. Gravy, dried up scrambled eggs, small yogurts, dry cereal, pre made pancakes that went into a toaster oven. Coffee machine very slow.

Great staff good stay

Breakfast was very good. In fact everything was very good.

Hana at the front desk is not fit for customer service! I stood at the desk for 5 minutes before she came to assist. She was just cleaning the counter. Then she addressed me, said she’d be back, and went back to cleaning the counter!! Unacceptable. Customer is always priority. She was very short and unaccommodating!

Very well kept and clean and looked nice! Only small downfall was hot tub wasn’t hot but maybe just hadn’t been turned up. Gym was decent sized and was truly a wonderful stay.

Originally when I showed up I was upset as it was around 10:40pm when I arrived and the hot/tub pool area was closed as I picked the location for the hot tub. Morning staff extended my check out time to allow enough time for me to use it this morning and helped me find an area I can record an audition tape!

The front desk lady when I checked in was not friendly or helpful. Our TV didn't work and seemed as if she could care less. She sent a maintenance man to the room at 10:30 pm, he told us he would be back and never showed up. I talked to the next days front desk who was SUPER helpful (his name was Nav, I think). He tried to fix himself and then sent another maintenance man to the room of which started that day, he tried 3 different times to fix without any luck. Nav offered us a new room. First room was on 2nd floor, ac worked amazing but no TV, we got moved to 4th floor with working TV but ac that didn't work that great, at least he tried to make things right with our stay.

Great bed. Great sheets. Great breakfast. Great location.

I was disappointed with our stay at this hotel. The staff was not very friendly or helpful (front desk, breakfast staff, etc.). Our room had crackers and things on the floor (not from us). The pool floor was really dirty (looked like muddy water all over the floor). The pool was out of towels so we asked the front desk attendant for more pool towels and were told "there are no more towels today" so we had to use the towels from our room and then could not get any more towels for our room. The next morning the breakfast was cold and they were out of a lot of items and the breakfast staff just told us there was not anymore (this was at 8:30 am). I usually like staying at Holiday Inn Express, but I won't choose to stay at this one again.

We had a great stay! The room was comfortable and clean. The staff were very kind. The breakfast was great.
