Holiday Inn Express & Suites Salt Lake City South - Murray by IHG

Breakfast was excellent, front desk staff was friendly and helpful. The room ottoman was stained and very dirty. The toilet drain flap was broken and needed to be replaced often. Shower pan was very slippery with no mat. No room coffee maker. 4th floor ice maker out of order.

Our first time booking a stay at Holiday Inn. We traveled 10 long hours by car and arrived in the late evening. We were shocked to find multiple hairs inside our bed sheets and noticed the office manager immediately. He moved us from our reserved king suite to a smaller 2 queen room. We were saddened to be moved to a smaller room, but were happy this room was much cleaner than the first room we were assigned. Breakfast was good and we made the best of our 2 night stay.

Hotel employee should never be allowed to interface with Customers. Had trouble with the TV. GM came up to fix it and said it would be fine. I asked him to try the remote because it had not worked He left without fixing it

I needed a high rise toilet seat as my mobility accessible room did NOT have the required ADA grab bars near the toilet. The front desk clerk was unfamiliar with my request. She checked with housekeeping and they had no information regarding a handicapped toilet seat riser. I had to go to a local medical supply and purchase one. $75.41. I requested a maintenance person to install it. According to the front desk clerk, there is no manager or maintenance staff available on weekends. I then had to go to Harbor Freight and purchase a pair of pliers and a screw driver for my husband to install. We would have left this facility but we had several family members registered for a family reunion/wedding. Of note the mobility accessible room 110 did NOT have grab bars either. One of our relatives was booked in there. When I got home, I called the hotel requesting a manager. I was told there was no manager available. I left my callback information, NO call back to date. I am very disappointed that the bathroom is NOT up to ADA standards. I have filed a DOJ complaint.

We really enjoyed the staff. The gentleman that helped us was personable and sweet and very helpful. We love this hotel! It is the fourth time we have stayed there and we plan to stay there each time we come to Salt Lake City. Thank you!

Room was clean but carpet was stained. Shower was very slippery had to put a towel on floor of shower so I did not fall. Mirror steamed up so vent didn't work! Refrigertor froze our sodas. No sugar free options for breakfast...syrup,jelly,yogurt,muffins, and cereal! Coffee was good.

Check in was great. Super friendly staff. Room was spacious and modern. Bathroom was well equipped and the shower was great. Breakfast was above average for a hotel free breakfast. Would definitely go back.
