Beach Colony Resort

I rode my motorcycle over 4 hours in the blistering heat. After I arrived I was told I would not park my motorcycle on the property. I was told it was listed on their websight. But it’s not listed on Expedia or any of their third party vendors. Which is very misleading and I would of never stayed as I had to park my bike over a mile away

I was charged more fees when inarrived

Room was full of dust . Room had bed bugs and roaches do not stay here people you will be disappointed. Staff was rude and had nasty attitude. Room was filthy bed was falling apart and mattress was hard. Room also smelled like mold . Pools was out of service as well .

Overall the trip was amazing. They don't follow up with fixing things though. Our safe didn't work the whole time we where there maintenance made two appointments to fix it never showed for either. They also claim to have a pool lift and do not so don't count on that. But property was super clean, had a lot of space and we enjoyed ourselves.

The only aspect that wasn't quite a five-star experience was the parking deck. It can be a little confusing and intimidating at first, as the spaces and driving lanes are fairly tight. However, there are attendants available to assist, and once you get used to it, it's completely manageable. Everything else about the property was outstanding. I truly enjoyed my stay and would gladly stay here again in the future. I highly recommend this resort to anyone visiting the area. One of the things I appreciated most was its location—far enough north to avoid the busiest crowds, yet close enough to all the attractions, restaurants, and activities that everything remained convenient. Overall, it was a wonderful experience and a great vacation destination.

The indoor pool was closed the entire week we were there. Also, our sheets were stained and the room didn’t look like it had really been cleaned all that good. We had an ok stay overall but for what we paid it could have been better.

Parking garage is not available for new trucks taller than 6’ 2”! Parking issues

Room was ok. Terrible water drainage. Room layout not suitable for physical challenge. Parking was terribly designed. Resort caters more to oversized vehicles (lifted trucks) than handicap.

Indoor pool was closed the jacuzzi was closed the room was dirty the floors was black and their was hair in both showers and some kind of blue stuff in one shower and black stuff in the other shower. The sliding door to the ball was broken. Overall experience wouldn’t stay their again and definitely won’t tell my family to stay their. Their parking garage you couldn’t hardly get through it’s one way so if your going up and they come down at the same time one is gonna have to back upstairs cause it’s only a one way way. And you have to pay to park there even after you spend all that money on the room you got. The parking should be free

Nice place

I love it. This day was nice and clean. It was convenient. I would stay there again when I come to Myrtle Beach.

Check in process was horrible and they called the police on me cause me and the girl at the front desk had words when I called to see what time the restaurant closed and to get there number. She told me I had to walk down there for myself and see. She called the police and said she was threatened for her life and I never said not one threat to her and never went downstairs to the front desk. I ordered a pizza and was waiting on that... when I opened the door it was the police telling me I had to leave the property cause she felt threatened for her life. She couldn't even tell the police what threatening I said to her cause I never said nothing but I still had to leave and couldn't get reimbursed for a room I only been in for 4 hrs

Not responsive and did nothing to accommodate request The customer service was lacking

Everything was wonderful except that my room smelled like an ashtray. I just bought some Febreeze and sprayed down the rugs, furniture, and beds and it was great. Lots of fun stuff for the kiddos and we had a wonderful time. My only suggestion would be for CannonBallz to be open more during the week. They didn't open til evening and for those of us that don't want to leave the resort, we had to order door dash.

Clean room, friendly staff, beautiful ocean front room.

Everything was great. The room was clean. It was spacious for my son’s wheelchair. We travel a lot with a lot of his medical equipment and it was big enough to house three adults and two children. It’s very convenient to the beach surrounded by lots of stores and restaurants. I would recommend and I will also stay again thank you for the great stay…

The 2 bedroom condo was not very clean. The master bedroom carpet had a huge dirty spot at the entrance, had what looked like blood on the bathroom door, the floor smelled of urine once wet, the outside of the toilet bowl hadn’t been cleaned. The blinds leading to the balcony from the living room were missing some blades preventing privacy. The dining room table had some type of red sauce on the edges. Had to use my own Lysol spray and wipes to feel somewhat comfortable. I have used this hotel several times in the past and never experienced such filth. I will never use them again!!

The room was clean the view was beautiful 😍 and those two things right there made it worth the price
