Courtyard by Marriott Myrtle Beach Barefoot Landing

Typical Courtyard room layout only there is no actual courtyard here, indoor pool. The backside balcony room has decent views of a condos next to a small pond with ducks flying around. The balcony door lock didn’t work and the safety bar was missing so had to call maintenance who questioned my “concern” since it was the 4th floor, like that would stop anyone with access below or above! Most of the decor was dated. Shower pressure was excessive, some mold residue on the tiles. Something, probably the icemaker WAY down the hall kept making intermittent loud thumping noises all day long. Faint smell of smoke (not cigarette!) and trash bags left everywhere. Free parking and convenient walkable location next to Barefoot Landing. There are way nicer places for the price but it was a Holiday weekend so took what I could get.

Loved the hotel in all! The staff was great and extremely helpful and kind! Would’ve loved complimentary breakfast but overall we were happy. I would definitely return

The staff was very helpful and accommodating at check-in. The room was clean and the custodial staff was helpful each day with checking in to see if anything was needed for the room.

The parking lot was filled. The place was incredibly dirty. This is a terrible place to go. Please avoid at all costs for your sake!

The hotel was in a good location for our stay. The room had a musty smell; the entire box of tissues was WET; the shower, although clean, had NO body wash, only shampoo. The towels were clean, but very rough.

The location is perfect for traveling with your family. Nice comfortable and friendly. The shopping stores and restaurants are near.

Beds were comfortable and room was very clean.

Loved everything except parking lot is absolutely too small

There is nothing around in walking distance. Breakfast is served to late for people who work

Our room was clean and quiet and the staff was friendly and helpful. When we are in the area, we will stay here again.

The only thing about this property is the parking there’s not enough parking for the amount of guests that they booked for this particular property so people didn’t have a place to park. There was parking on the side of the building in front of dumpsters and that’s just not appropriate so I think they need to invest in expanding more parking spaces to accommodate their guest, but other than that, everything was perfect a nine out of 10

The fact that no one cleaned my room bc the staff didn’t come in.

Not how it used to be! They charged me for an incidental and cannot tell me what it was for or what person /room it was charged to this was a group booking.
