Courtyard by Marriott Myrtle Beach Barefoot Landing

The hotel staff were amazing and helped my mom and I with our stay considering we had to leave early.

The hotel was clean and comfortable.

Bugs found in room infested my daughter , wife and mothers head with lice pics where taken cockroach found in floor picture taken aswell ! Management denyed there was any such thing in there hotel and denyed refund on day of check in couldn’t check in on time due to rooms not being ready due to laundry system being down !! One manager said to me there not court yard owned which still doesn’t changed anything at all pool isn’t cleaned as it should be cloudy water not properly maintained. Sand in bottom of pool!!

The beds were comfortable and the room was clean. The staff were friendly and helpful. Towels were provided at the indoor pool. Free coffee in the lobby would have been nice. We were disappointed that it did not have an outdoor pool.

Cleaning staff was amazing. Rated the hotel in general poor. I booked in May. When I arrived they didnt have the room I booked.

The location is absolutely perfect to access the beach, activities in the community, places to eat and play. I have stayed at this location at Barefoot Landing many times. I believe I can sincerely call it 'my preferred spot" when I visit Myrtle Beach. Would be absolutely wonderful if a complimentary breakfast and bottled water are included. The staff are friendly and supportive. The lobby is comfortable and you can gather with family and friends and even make new acquaintances.

I think that the greeting could’ve been more polite or more helpful. The air condition in the room was leaking water, which I reported and someone did come right away, but the problem still continued to happen that floor was wet. Also, I think the pillows should be replaced on the bed overall our rate might stay with courtyard in North side Myrtle Beach is a 4.5 and it didn’t compare to what I seen online if not that I won’t be staying at another courtyard because I will just not this one.

The hotel stay was the definition of okay. The hotel room had hair on the top sheet. The shower was clogged and areas of the ceiling and floor were rusted, behind the night stand was rotting pizza that was left behind from a previous stay and the balcony had cobwebs and dustiness.

We had tickets to hear Billy Bob & his band at Alabama theater. We picked the perfect hotel, as far as location. It’s right by the theater. Plus, there are restaurants galore! Oh, and the hotel ain’t so bad either!

Bathroom shower tub was very dirty , pool was not clean . Breakfast is not included we purchased it but it was ok .

Staff was very professional and courteous. Problem in first room shower head and lines were leaking badly. Black mold was running down the wall of shower and door was badly damaged and stain with mold. Didn't notice the condition until I went to use the shower the next day. I have health issues with mold and fungus and got an eye infection later the second day that I attribute to the presence of mold. They moved us to another room that was much better on the fourth floor and it was acceptable. But I did notice that the ring around the sink vanity was also heavily covered with black mold. I have stayed at a number of different Marriotts over the years and have never seen this type of maintenance issue before. The other issue there was a huge issue finding a place to park my pick up truck. There was a lack of adequate spaces for the property and a number of heavy duty trucks and their equipment trailers were blocking a number of spaces.

If you are looking for a place that is not on the beach but seemingly close to the beach, restaurants, shopping malls, and other beach attractions, then this is the place to book. We found the accomodations to be quite clean and the staff very helpful. I can't speak for the food as we ate our meals out. We did have one night where we came in after 10pm and found that several construction guests had parked trailers across parking spaces consuming maybe 20 parking slots which forced us and others to park in spaces not deemed actual parking spaces. The staff apologized for the inconvenience and the next evening was back to normal. This was actually the 2nd time we haved stayed at the Courtyard and would likely stay there again.

This is our second year in a row coming to this hotel. Everyone is always so kind and friendly. Will be returning. Great location! Great price!

Plenty of space for you to do entertainment

Nothing really great the staff at the desk were really great, especially Jennifer who was really attentive to my needs. Overall the desk help was great.
