North Beach Resort & Villas

Booked villa off hotels.com. The pictures and descriptions didn’t match what we booked. Case in point walk in shower, balcony, open airy with a garage. The front attendant kept telling me that you book the room not the pictures. Well you go off of the pictures to see what you’d like to rent. If that’s the case change the pictures and reword the description because the room description does say it is supposed to have a patio or balcony. And then he preceded to inform me that none of the one bedroom villas nor the two bedrooms have a walk in shower. It was very frustrating. They did end up changing our room to a 2 bedroom lower level apartment. No balcony or patio. Not sure if we’ll be back. Needs a little TLC and updating. The bathrooms especially need some help. Grout and wear. Not pretty.

The resort was great except there was a lot of very loud construction noise …the carpets were being replaced on balconies requiring lots of grinding and other loudness

Absolutely love this place.

This is absolutely the best place I have stayed in Myrtle Beach, I never knew it was even part of SC. It's truly a hidden gem. I rate this 100/100. Definitely will be back. The late-night check-in front-seat guy was super sweet, and the morning check-out staff was super sweet too.

Incredible stay! The house was beautiful, spacious and clean. The pools were sparkling. Best time ever!!!

Exceptional

Everything was great. The only issue was the gas alarm kept going off in our unit and the one beside ours. Maintenance changed the alarms (no gas leaks) and it was fine. Just two sleepless nights later....

Hotel towers were very nice, no smells, clean, lots of room, full kitchen. The couch should be updated, Bathroom door was dragging door frame just a bit. Latch on sliding door to balcony needs some attention. Other than those small details the room was great. Elevators got pretty busy at times but mostly very convenient. Parking garage was plenty big with many spaces. Security seems to be very important to this property which was very nice.

I like the options for breakfast but 3 dollars extra for syrup for coffee was a little too much!!

The location was awesome beautiful scene of the ocean clean condo That there wasn’t a complementary breakfast.

No not noisy Took to long check inn, do not know it was two stories with stairs

The villa was nice and had exactly what we needed. This was the first time we stayed in one of the villas. It was just the right size for my wife and I. In the past we have stayed at in the Towers. This was a nice change. The rugs in the villa were dirty; it wouldn't hurt if they were replaced. Everything else was nice. If we didn't have to walk upstairs to get to the villa would have been great.

Clean room and great amenties. Pricey drinks snd food and bar closes too early.

The direct access to the beach was the big win for us. Everything else was decent. The full resort needs updated including the indoor pool area and lazy river. It was nice to have a large room but for the price, I did expect more.
