First time at Myrtle Beach for a Family vacation. The condo was clean and had everything we needed plus more. We were right on beach, condo overlooked beach and pool area. Staff was friendly, housekeeping was prompt every morning ready to supply fresh towels and take trash. Definitely staying there again. Thanks North Beach Resort for making our vacation feel like home away from home!!

The resort is beautiful with many pools oceanfront, and all are well maintained. Its location is also convenient and easy to access. The staff as a whole is very helpful with the weakest link being at check-in…they just handed you the keys and didn’t really provide any additional necessary info. They half heartedly answered questions, and were put out at even doing that. There was also some discrepancy as to which vehicles qualified as “extended” and were allowed special parking…it seemed to vary as to who was on duty with no real standards to ensure fairness. Some of the prices at onsite restaurant and pool concession stand were somewhat reasonable for such an upscale resort, but some were way too high like $8.84 for an ice cream bar!!! It also became habit to check accuracy of tab as mistakes were often made with overcharges. In spite of these few negatives, the positives far outweighed them, and we would probably return for another stay. Kudos to housecleaning who kept our garbage empty and generously provided ample towels for all!

Everything excellent except for the mattress in the sofa bed. Was completely flat and my kids felt the springs poking their backs... they weren't able to replace it but added some padding to make it a little bit comfortable which we really appreciate from the sweet housekeeping lady. Carpets, washer and dryer were stinky... smelled like wet dog and pee. There was a dead roach in the little laundry closet. No sponge to wash the dishes. Not enough silverware. No bed linens for the sofa bed, we had to call housekeeping at 10pm to get some. Mattress in the master bedroom way to soft and old. Bedroom furniture looks very old and worn out. Needs a little bit of love and renovation to be a 5 star room, because the place and the service is AMAZING!!! DEFINITELY COMING BACK!

The ocean view room exceeded my expectations. I loved our room and the amenities and the balcony was huge! My family and I will definitely be back next year!

Best place at the beach.

Our unit was clean and pretty well maintained. It was nice to have a few heated pools to choose from since it was still cool in April. They were clean and clear. Hot tubs were in good condition too. One thing I didn’t like was the construction going on that I was not aware of until we got there. Because of this there was no bathroom by the pool and you had to go inside and up to the third floor to use the bathroom- extremely inconvenient. It would have been nice to know that ahead of time so check before you book to make sure there are no construction projects that may disrupt your stay. The beach was fantastic and staff were friendly. When the room next to us had a loud late night party security was quick to shut it down in a calm respectful manner. There were security issues while we were there- teens getting into an altercation. The police were called. In general there seemed to be a lot minors hanging out around the property unattended. Some of the lifeguards were not too pleasant. While it must be frustrating to repeat yourself (Get off the wall), they could be nicer about it. Nastiness doesn’t create a relaxing vacation vibe. Bartenders by the pools were awesome! They closed early due to the season (5 or 6pm) so if you are there in April, hit the bar early or you’ll miss their delicious drinks. Overall, we had a good time but I feel North Beach isn’t as grand as it had been. It seemed less highend and classy than in the past. My balcony view though was priceless!

We loved the condo. The full kitchen helped us save money on breakfast and lunch. The beach access was great. The view from the balcony was also very nice. The beds were comfortable. I really have no complaints about this hotel. We will be staying here again the next time we come to Myrtle Beach.

Excellent experience

The staff was great! The room was nice but didn’t appear cleaned well. The walls looked like they have never been touched. The curtains had a nasty stain and the toilet leaked and smelled like sewage.

The property is very pretty, even though very dated with furniture and colors. Our room was not as clean as it should have been upon arrival, but they promptly took care of it. 3rd floor cafe is great, though not a big selection. Our master tub lost hit water our final 2 days and was never addressed. Upon check out, no one ask how was our stay or thanks for coming.

Check-in was good. Our room was clean and staff brought towels or removed trash when asked. There were luggage carts available right at the temporary parking spot. The pool is nice. We did have an issue with the people next to our room smoking on their balcony. It is a no smoking building and the smoke drifted over to us. Hotel staff spoke with the person and it stopped. Overall a good experience, will stay here again

Been my go to place for the last 3 years. Roomy for the family. Great location , great amenities
