Gazebo Inn Oceanfront

You can see the ocean, and have a balcony with 2 chairs to enjoy the view. It was quieter than expected. The photos do not show how dirty or run down the Gazebo Inn is. Old food on oven, exposed power outlets, worn paint and a door that was water damaged and didn't shut properly are a few stand out issues. Its unfortunate maintenance hasn't been maintained as it is a good location. We almost left when we arrived the room was so bad. Luckily we didn't get bed bugs.....one bonus

No Breakfast I only stayed 2 nights payed for 3 nights still haven’t refunded… Everything done in timely manner….The property said bookings.com suppose to refund me and booking.com says property suppose to refund me… All I want is my refund for the night I didn’t stay…..

Flies everywhere. Dead bugs in the bed. Bad smell in the room. Everything.

I liked the price the hotel was decent but smelled bad because of people smoking marijuana inside their rooms. The smell made me feel sick. We booked our room because it was supposedly a non smoking room. We were very disappointed because people were allowed to smoke outside on their balconies, and inside the room next door to us. We spoke to the office staff about the marijuana smoking, the lady at the front desk said that people could smoke whatever on their balconies. We won’t be staying again at this place. Staffing doesn’t seem to care about the customers who aren’t pot heads.

My stay was fine but the TV did not turn off and my room was in the basement with the laundry facilities.

Beach view was excellent.

Beachfront!!! The staff were polite. I was able to get the room for a 50% discount. The beach was excellent and the water was very warm. The hotel needs major renovation. Parking below deck was difficult and tight to maneuver. Outside on the balcony, I had to listen to the adjacent hotels pool pump ticking noise and very loud neighbors. Get a front facing beach room not a side one.

Rooms were decently clean, not bad for the price.

It's an old property. I had read some negative reviews about it but booked anyway because we wanted beachfront and couldn't afford to go high-end but we regretted it. Fixtures in the bathroom were coming off the wall, paint was peeling, the mini fridge door was peeling, sheets had some stains, their was a stain or dirt of some kind on the window curtain, a corner lamp was rusting away, the tv was not well supported on the wall, the mattress was uncomfortable...to name a few things. But there was a pool, we had beach access, we had a porch to sit on facing the beach, the staff were friendly, some were just kind of flat (I read a lot of reviews about rude staff and we didn't have that problem.) They had made some efforts to brighten the room, a colorful rug, a new lamp between the beds, colorful paint and artwork, but those things didn't outshine all the negatives. So overall, we had what we needed to have a bed and roof over our heads at a discounted price on the beach, but in the future we'd pay more to have better/newer accommodations.
