Gazebo Inn Oceanfront

Do not stay here. Absolutely trash, loud bangs all night, long no shower, curtain, dirty towel towels, dirty sheets, dirty floors no water, pressure. Absolutely, the worst place I’ve ever stayed.

Not what we expected based on pictures but still had a great stay. Only issue i had was the sheets didnt look clean when we arrived. Sheets had hair and little lint balls on them. We got new one immediately which were alot better. Overall I had a great stay. I would probably stay again but in a different room. Thank you

I was happy with my stay. Do not try to check in early. It says 3:00 but we got there at 4:30 and it was great. There was a line but it was not bad. This is a great, safe, beachfront economy stay. I got exactly what I paid for. We didn't really get in the pool. There were little kids in the hot tub, which is tiny. This is a hotel when you plan to be on the beach the whole time. 10/10 would stay again.

Location and the view from the balcony was amazing, building is lil old but happy with the stay.

First time ever staying at gazebo in was not impressed if I would have been 18 or down there on spring break the teenager Maybe but it's just a typical old Myrtle Beach Hotel had a deadbolt at the top of the door and had been kicked in at one time the room looked fairly clean there was pubic hair in the shower The View that I paid extra for ocean front was a pretty good view of the filters for the pool that had a yellowish dinge to it. Got woke up at 2:00 in the morning by the police beating on the door because there was a disturbance and someone had said that it was us with me and being 54 years old my fiance and her daughter just said at least it wasn't the best family time that I've ever spent. And then when we went to leave usually most facilities and everyone that I've ever stayed at that once you checked out you could still use the amenities as far as the pool and things like that not there they directed you to the parking lot on the other side to where there was public parking you could pay for and public beach access but you could not use the access from the hotel anymore. Overall for the money I spent I was not very impressed

Overall, was kinda disappointed expected to get an ocean view but I couldn’t see the ocean from my room. Pictures are a little deceiving, the room had a small fridge. Room was not in the best of shape but was clean and easy to get to. Beach was also easy to access from the bottom floor. Room was also not ready at check-in, took an extra hour. Cheap place to stay for a couple days but not for a long period of time.

The room wasn’t bad at all. The door to the balcony was damaged from what looked like water and we were in the top floor. The floor was warped up in some areas. Walking into the lobby it’s just a hall way with a small office off of it. Only 2 reserves were allowed in the office at a time the others had to wait in the cramped hallway which had no ac. It took me over an hour and a half to finally get into the office. They don’t allow early check ins and check in was at 3pm. Most of the people waiting along with myself once we paid and got signed in our rooms were not ready. Only one person there to do check ins which made for a long wait. The hallway and carpet were stained and just looked old. It could be a beautiful place with more renovations. Room was clean, great water pressure, ocean view was amazing. Bed was comfortable. They do have 1 elevator so you don’t have to climb the stairs if you don’t want to or can’t. I would stay there again just need a better check ins and out system or hire more people to help with the process.

Long story short it was highly disappointing, the staff and room were not what I had hoped for and was highly disappointed! I’ll leave it at that!

Property was not clean or safe. Room door was not locked. Not at all what was advertised and felt very unsafe. Did not stay.

The pool when it got cleaned. The view on the balcony was very nice The stove was disgusting, could not cook on it , the balcony door would not stay shut had to keep bolt locking it when inside. No towels or wash clothes had to ask several times to get them.. saw 2 roaches, 1 in bathroom and 1 in kitchen. We had only 2 or three that was very friendly and helpful. The beds was clean and comfortable. The floor tile was bulking up on the window side I kept stumbling on it. The refrigerator was so close to the door you couldn't hardly open the fridge door and keep it closed...the parking lot had no handicap parking marked for handicap.

For an ocean front room, the Thursday night price was very good for late June.The floors could use a good mopping.If all the property could be updated to a no smoking zone would be a plus.Sitting on the balcony you could smell smoke from the other balcony,and it wasn't just tobacco.Smart TV was new with plenty of channels,AC was very good.Room was furnish well.Parking was ok top side, didn't have to use the parking garage.Noise from swimming pool was minimal.Pool closed at 10:00 pm.Easy access to the beach ⛱️.

The hot tub was dirty, the bathroom was horrible, the toilet wouldn’t flush fully. Great staff though and decent location! Shop right in front of the hotel. Parking situation was good.
