Hampton Inn & Suites Myrtle Beach/Oceanfront

The staff were very nice at check in and out. The hotel is definitely older but somewhat renovated. The carpet in the hallways and rooms are old. Our bathroom was tight and had some rough spots on the ceiling. I don’t think I would stay here again.

CONS:Facilities are older. My toilet bar fell off the wall leaving a gaping hole in the wall. Smelled like mildew and bad filters. The smell was so strong we bought aroma boosters and room spray. I called for basic amenities like towels and toilet paper, guest services would say they'll bring it and never come. The surrounding area is interesting........Stay somewhere nicer for a little more.

Attention to detail was missing. Front desk staff not too customer focused. Breakfast buffet understaffed. Two rainy days without cable TV service, with no backup provided.

Breakfast was a very basic selection and the breakfast area was unable to cope with the large number of guests at the 8-9 hour. Pool amenities were excellent and access to the beach.

We celebrated our 48 anniversary there.The food was good at the restaurant.I had crab legs,my husband had fish and the dinner was at a reasonable price.We hung out at the pool but could still see the beach area and it was nice.Our room did not get cleaned while we were there but we had adequate amount of towels for our 2 night stay.

We have stayed at this hotel 6 times in the past 9 years but first time staying here since 2023. I was not happy we had to pay for parking and when in the past we didn’t have to . The other places I have stayed at in Myrtle Beach we never had to pay to park our car during our stay . The front desk is great . The breakfast was ok but needs to be tweaked so everyone isn’t crammed into one room to get food during the busiest hours . The restaurant wasn’t that good , the convenience is nice but they need better waiters and better quality food and a cook that can read and understand orders better than what they have

Every time I like to ho here any where in the country but this one realy I am not fill like comfortable like the one I know Hampton inn this time I pay extra for to sew the beach and relax in our Deck but to much smoking marwana I can not set in my deck all the time I am really disappointed for this even the told me room service are every two days that is crazy to change the towel and clean the trush I paid for everyday service at all this time we are not happy .other thing the first day I was @4pm to check in but we wait more than one hour to get the room key I was really tired .I hope they knows a lot of thing need fix in this place .

I enjoyed my stay! My room was clean and the amenities were on point. The food at the onsite restaurant was delicious! Everything we needed was at the hotel. When I first arrived, the parking deck situation was confusing but after that it was smooth sailing.

Everyone was wonderful! Love this hotel! It was our first time here and it was perfect for the kids. Everyone really enjoyed it! Rooms were nice and clean!

I lost a Novato Gold watch in my room; I’ve called, but I’m not getting an answer—no one knows anything.

Liked the staff, breakfast was terrible was good but we were the 9 days and everyday was out of food,so everyone was waiting for the food. A little hassle. Room was not wiped down bought lysol cleaned myself. Never had housekeeping except twice once we called for.,but location was excellent and staff

The location is great but need to improve the cleanliness

The free breakfast is not worth it. same egg and sausage everyday.

The doors to the pool and beach were locked so early walkers had to walk down the street to a public access Parking Garage was $25 per day plus plus all other parking in Myrtle Beach was $10 per day

Property was great! People great ! Breakfast we had to wait for re stocks too long but over all food was good . Our family did not care for the food at their restaurant.

My son and I stayed in room 306 in the south tower. The room itself was not great. The bathroom had hair in the shower, the toilet paper holder was falling off the wall(I asked someone to fix & they said they were figuring out stuff), the sliding glass door to the balcony got stuck twice(someone had to get it open with a crowbar), the balcony was gross(only had 1 chair when others had 2), requested to have the shampoo/conditioner/body wash refilled & staff wanted to give me excuses as to why they didn’t, and the hallways to the inside of the hotel had trash everywhere on the floor!! I paid almost $1,700 for 4 nights and it was not worth it!!

Room that I paid for was not clean . Had to be down graded to another room. That room was not too clean. It was dusty had a bug in the ceiling of the bathroom. Floor needed vacuuming. Although they gave me my money back 10/10 wold not recommend.

Everything overall was great, except we found 2 cockroaches it was so disgusting..

My room was beautiful and the view was great!
