Clean room, parking was easy, the presidential suite was perfect but the kitchen needs more cookware.

I didn’t want to leave this review. I gave the hotel several opportunities. The room was dirty, but beyond that, I specifically booked here for the kitchen. The sink was leaking, the fridge was set to zero and the oven barely worked. I expect more from a Wyndham property. Very disappointed.

Rose at the front desk was very helpful 👌

This is not on the beach! They make you think it is and it’s not. Definitely not worth the money at all.

This was absolutely the worst motel I’ve stayed in Mainly because of the false advertisement it’s one thing to know when you’ve booked a room at red roof and deal with it it’s another to be lied to! it is advertised like it sits on the beach because it’s and like it’s a resort because it’s owned by Wyndham. But in fact the sandbar hotel is nothing but a cheap cracked out motel and it should be advertised as such I would’ve never booked my reservation if I had seen the appropriate pictures to this crappy place! Never would I stay there again!

We were very disappointed with our stay. The room was not clean upon check-in—the floor was covered in sand, there was toothpaste splatter on the bathroom mirror, the refrigerator was sticky, and there were stains on the bedding. The towels provided were extremely thin and rough, feeling worn out and well past their prime. The room also felt much smaller than it appeared in the photos, which seem to be heavily edited. The electrical outlet placement was inconvenient and impractical, and the pool water was noticeably murky. Overall, this hotel did not meet the standards we expect from Wyndham and was not worth the price.

That it was close to the beach the roach crawling across the floor. Also how nasty the pool was it had stuff floating around in it.

I have no words to describe the worse experience at this place! No sense of humanity whatsoever. Poor costumer service. I booked two nights thru Expedia and missed the check in window, so they charged and cancelled my booking. My family of five were all tired from a long drive from NJ!! I ended up booking a night at the same price for the two nights thru Expedia. The pictures are deceiving, they only show you the ocean front and not the pool view rooms..

We booked a 2 queen room but what they gave us was a 1 queen bed with a pullout love seat. We didn’t stay there we went to the holiday pavilion down the street. Also the staff was horrible. Don’t waste your time or money with this place

The parking lot was very filthy. Its not really maintained my ex Mother-in-law got a flat tire in the parking lot. They have lava rocks scatter cigarette butts on the ground. There's no one outside picking up trash. i wish we got a chance to go into the but the indoor pool was freezing cold, like well, water cold, and the hot tub was scalding hot. I did tell someone about it the outside pool was fairly clean, but you could definitely see mold and residue, all the way around on the pool. I wish they would have cleaned it more thoroughly. Instead, just grabbing the debris that was inside the pool .we did enjoy our stay over all. There's just little things that need to be addressed . i spent over 2 grand on this. 2 hotel rooms plus a destination fee plus the resort fee the price was way to high for the room we got. but I can say we do not see any roaches, or bed bugs. but I believe if there are these fees, the property really needs to send out messages to people. And not hide the fees in A P. D. F receipt, because it did not say anywhere when we booked. not everyone has an extra 700ish bucks like that. i hate to leave negative comments like this on a place but They really, really, really need to maintain cleanliness on the property and in the pool Because if they don't keep the pool clean, people can get sick and they won't have business.

The room was spacious, and the beds was very comfy.....balcony was nice too. Did not know hotel didnt have a elevator...

First disappointment....property waa advertised as beach front and was NOT. As soon as we arrived and checked in, staff was rude, like we were inconvenience her to check in. Our room floor was dirty upon arrival. The door to our room didn't fully close. Bathroom didnt seem very clean. Soaps in shower were empty. When we needed towels replenished we got attitude from staff whom really didn't even speak English. The pool was dirty. Algae on the side of the pool walls. My kids didn't wven want to get in. Hotel needs much updating. The internet is very misleading on this place. We would never come back and stay. We definitely wouldn't recommend to friends or family.

Location Cleanliness

Was placed into the wrong room and given a new one. Our new room wasn't cleaned after the prior client. The bedsheets had paw prints and pee stains. The bathroom was dirty with old towels. When we politely asked for custodial staff, we were met with an attitude and waited 20 minutes outside our room for someone to sassily give us new sheets and ignore the bathroom. No apologies for the icky experience, let alone delaying an already late check-in time. Did its job as a place to stay close to the beach, but it was definitely disappointing.

It was very location friendly, close to the ocean The front staff wasn’t very nice, some fees were not disclosed at time of booking.
