Twilight Surf Hotel Ocean Front

First, I had to wait outside for about 10min for someone to check me in. The room was disgusting. The floors were visibly dirty, the shower was visibly dirty, and the fan in the room had black dust/dirt all over it. We had to bathe in the sink. The stove had food and stains all over it, so I could not cook my food (this is why I chose a room with a kitchenette). The parking lot was nasty with cigarette butts, bottles, and other debris everywhere. The curtains even had large black spots all over them. I didn’t rest well because of the unsanitary environment. The rooms did not look like that in the site. The only thing that was worthy about this stay was the close beach access. There were lots of sketchy hanging around the property. There were also a lot of little kids running around. I’m sure they lived there, but one little girl (about 4-5 yrs old) that tried to follow my husband to the room. They were not being watched. 10/10 would NEVER recommend! I forgot to mention that the person/owner that checked me in tried to make me pay twice because he “couldn’t find my reservation.” He saw the reservation on Expedia’s site, but he kept claiming that it didn’t show in his system. He told me to pay again and go after Expedia to get my money back from them. It was utterly ridiculous!

NOTHING Over priced, dirty, not maintained, dead bugs in dresser, mold on windows, drug dealers/user right outside in parking lot, broken and torn lamp shades. Plus the smoke detector was removed and the bathrrom door was held together with duck tape. This facility was so bad that we slept elsewhere during our stay.

Nothing The fact that it was infested with roaches and bed bugs. Room was filthy never had a proper cleaning sand and trash all over the floors. Drug dealers hanging around outside of property selling drugs and doing god knows what else. $25 for an extra parking sticker for a crowded parking lot.

The owners were rude! The beds had crumbs all around the floor. No tvs in bed rooms. Would not give refund. It’s a location for local drug dealers. All you smell is weed. No house cleaners. No additional towels nor bath cloths. Have to take out your own trash. Drug traphouse. Full of drugs and prostitution and will never ever again rent.

Extremely nasty! We took the loss and stayed elsewhere. Seriously BEWARE!

The room had a strong odor inside. My wife could not even sit down in the room because the odor was overwhelming her asthma and immediately we had to leave and otherwise an ambulance would’ve come picked her up out of the floor. We complain to staff we’re told that’s all we have and will you ask for our money back cause we never even really got to sit down in the room the room was dirty. The sheets had holes in it. There was brown spots on the mattress. The Pillow cases had holes in them. The room was warm. I’m not even sure if the air would have cooled down the temperature. It was just a disgrace.

Just need to work on keeping pool clean.

The staff was awesome but the hotel wheeew will never stay again

Good location for adults for a quick trip for the price.

Booked 4 romes, got the keys. It was so disgusting? Roaches in the room? Throw up on curtains feces in the toilet. Blood on the sheets mold on the sheet skirts of the bed. Floors was so dirty. Staff was smoking in the office while I'm trying to talk to them. I would never let my children stay in a place like this. Not even my worst enemy, had to argue with them did not get any refunds. So if you like roaches and dirtiness, you are more than welcome, you get what you paid for I guess.

Unfortunately, while I was excited to stay at the beach this hotel did not meet my expectations. I probably should've known it was not "safe" or "clean" by the rate, but I wanted to give it a chance. I am sure that if I had a partner on my trip, the safety issues wouldn't have been as grave a concern, however I was traveling alone. If you are traveling alone, you should not stay here. If you are traveling with a partner, the hotel was clean (with the exception of a few bugs on the floor. Otherwise, it was very quiet. I was able to get a few hours of sleep in between worrying if someone might considering coming into my room because they saw me enter alone. I was able to get up in the morning and watch the sun rise. So this hotel is fine, if you aren't traveling alone and don't care about the hotel amenities.

The hotel is close to the beach, that’s a big reason to stay there. The staff is helpful. Otherwise, don’t expect much. It’s a budget-friendly ocean-front facility.

The staff was friendly nothing was cleaned, half the outlets didn’t work couldn’t charge my phone and when one did work took all night. Police in and out all night it’s so loud you don’t get any sleep.. roaches in the bathroom..neighbors screaming..couldn’t sit in the chairs in the patio they’re rusted and broken, cigarette buds everywhere

Great place would stay again 10/10 Loved this place would not stay anywhere else

The only thing I liked about the property, it was near the ocean The first room I was in had no outlets working so that means no refrigerator and no stove and no microwave would work. Hair all in the shower so I moved to the next room after complaining and it smelled like weed and there was no showerhead and no toilet paper I had to keep asking for stuff. It was not worth the money. I will never go there again plus it was a bad area and there was people wearing red bandannas, throwing stuff at my family and selling drugs on the property plus my room smell like straight marijuana. In time to find out there is a murder in that hotel like a month ago.

Nothing Nothing the rooms weren’t ready. My floors where so dirty my feet where black. I had no towels to start with. My microwave didnt work or the stove. Also the guest that where staying with me were having the same problems. Maintenance was just laughing at situation while I was having my stay at the beach for the weekend. The bathroom water pressure was horrible I felt like I was taking a bird bath praying and hoping the water didn’t go out is how it felt to take a shower. I paid 500$ to be there and the experience was horrible I wish I could get half my money back because that was ridiculous stay. I wouldn’t recommend it at all for any cheap hotel. I would have took a 20 min drive somewhere else if my experience was gonna be like that. Also the wifi connection didn’t work I had to use my personal hotspot, I even went down to the office and spoke to the desk person they refused to believe me that the wifi wasn’t working because they said they where on the wifi. But my room was not getting any connection. I let it be because I wasn’t getting no where.
