Grande Shores Ocean Resort

Well the property was very good the pool and the fact that is close to the beach help but the place need to be cleaned and redone it looks old and dirty most of the vending machines were broken or malfunctioning they kept 12 dollars from my son overall I give one start

Great place right on the ocean. Nice big rooms. No parking problems. Food on the premises was good. Plenty of pools.

Beach view is awesome. Clean rooms/ clean well groomed kitchen area and bathroom. The staff was great and very accommodating.

The hotel is a little outdated and cleanliness could be improved. Overall, I think there are better options nearby for the price

The beds weren’t super comfy and the parking garage was tight with a truck

When we checked in there was a half eaten burrito in the closet amd other garbage along with it. We had made breakfast for the kids then went to the pool with plans to eat after. When we came back housekeeping had taken all of our food. All our drinks, sandwiches, and egg bowls were thrown away before we could eat. It was a decent place for the price but wouldn't go back. When we asked for a discount for the unclean room we were told they couldn't because we used Expedia.

Clean and reasonable rates. Restaurant had very good food. Customer service was excellent

The beach was within walking distance! We enjoyed our room and the morning views of the ocean! The noise from the other room Next to us because we had a conjoining door. It was always locked, but the walls were very thin.

The location was in a reallynice area of Myrtle Beach. Nothing

Check-in was amazing! The view was nice. The overall room was clean. The only problem was our bed linen were not the best. Our bed had a stain in the linen and the other bed had hair. The elevators were very slow. Other than that we had a great time and an amazing view!

Could have had a 40 dollar microwave

My room had a nice side ocean view. Check in was easy. I liked that the parking garage was set up so you could park close to your room.

I liked the location and most of the people were nice there. They did change our room for us. Due to the fact that I'm afraid of heights and it was right at the edge of the outside hall. We had a problem with our tub it wouldn't drain. It took three phone calls and one stop at the desk to get it done. It wouldn't have been so bad if it wasn't because of us. But my nephew had to shower in backup dirty water. They also did not clean the tub after they drained it. Housekeeping did come in did not empty the trash and did not clean the tub which was still full of sand. They only have three elevators. Which I guess would have been fine if they were all working. It wasn't my family but there was an emergency with a child and The fireman had to use the stairs and the ambulance could not bring the gurney up the elevator because it was taking so long. Not sure how the child made out but hopefully the child is okay. I'm sorry but I don't believe we will be going back to this hotel. The price it cost to go on vacation now is very high. I would like to know that I am staying in a place that will make sure that things are clean and safe.
