Had a great trip stay was wonderful

It took one hour to check us in. Then it was the wrong room, they put us in the ocean front view and things we just handed like not having Wi-Fi. They don’t have a password or anything just unsecured Wi-Fi and we needed to do business. So that was a mess. Also, no one told us about the $250 deposit that kinda upset us and no one bothered to mention that we had to pay $15 a day for parking our car in the hotel or the resort which my car was hit twice in the parking lot

From the moment we checked in, the customer service was disappointing. The front desk staff never made eye contact, kept looking down at the paperwork the entire time, barely acknowledged my husband or me, and provided no information about the hotel or our stay. We were treated like just another paycheck instead of valued guests. Housekeeping was also a letdown. We never received room service during our stay and had to request clean towels ourselves. The staff acted as though providing extra towels was an inconvenience. Even when they did respond, everything moved at an incredibly slow pace. To make matters worse, our room wasn’t properly cleaned when we arrived—the floor still had sand on it. The property itself has great potential and looks fantastic online, but customer service and cleanliness are just as important as appearance. Sadly, those areas fell far short of expectations. I couldn’t wait to check out.

Nice hotel and the best part was the room and front view

The unchecked drug use throughout the property was completely out of hand. The smell of marijuana flooded the hallways, leaked directly into our room, and drifted over the pool area. It is infuriating as a parent to have your children continuously exposed to that while on a family vacation. Beyond the total lack of rule enforcement, the physical conditions were insane. Our room had visible black mold inside the A/C unit, filthy floors, a dirty shower, mattresses so worn down we could feel the metal springs, and a constant ceiling leak that made our balcony unusable. They don’t provide daily room service and when you try to call for help they literally tell you that you’re just going to have to wait, only to not even show up to your room. The ocean view is the only redeeming quality, but everything under management’s control is dirty, outdated, and neglected. Please save your family the headache and book somewhere else.

When we entered our room, there was a huge dead cockroach on the floor. The front desk dismissed it as a “palmetto bug” and offered no apology. We tried to overlook it, but after two nights we found multiple live baby roaches crawling across our room. We were also shocked to learn there was no housekeeping service at all. Garbage piled up outside guest rooms, common trash cans overflowed, the elevators smelled awful, and the pool was cloudy with visible dirt and debris. Our room was not properly cleaned before arrival—the toilet was dirty, and there wasn’t even shampoo or conditioner provided. When I asked to leave early because of the roaches, management was rude, refused to refund us, told us to deal with Expedia, and even threatened to evict us for complaining. Thankfully, Expedia handled the situation professionally. This was by far the worst hotel I’ve ever stayed in. It’s unbelievable that this property advertises itself as a resort. We also overheard other guests complaining about rooms not being ready, missing towels, and doors that wouldn’t lock. Stay somewhere else—the ocean view is not worth the filthy conditions and terrible customer service.

super accommodating, we moved our stay up a day even thought we had to make a new reservation because it was last minute they made sure that we never had to switch rooms, and was in the room we booked for the week.

I believe they had acquired the furniture from another hotel remodel, and it all seemed too big for this room. The bathroom also seemed to be a “retrofit”. Anyone of size would have a hard time getting in and out of the shower. The oceanfront room with a balcony would have been great IF.. someone close by hadn’t been smoking some seriously stinky marijuana!! It even came through the ac at night. I smelled it so much I had a headache the entire time we were there. Parking was terribly inconvenient as we were on floor 12 and the parking garage is only 8 floors. AND we had to pay $30 for that inconvenience!!🙄 Also the $250 hold seemed rather high to me. That was almost half as much as our total stay!! All in all, we would not stay there again!!

The pool was perfect I enjoyed the bar and the lazy river. I will definitely be staying here when I return in the fall

I like the room and it was clean and location was great/ the jacuzzi was not warm. & the tub was clogged my only complaint with the room as well.

Clean room and good service. Not a bad hotel, it just needs some maintenance upkeep/update. For example, Remove all the carpets in hallway & stairway. Either tile or paint the floors to maintain a clean dry condition (no water). Paint hallways & garage with a brighter color. It just feels like you're in a dungeon so dark. It needs some serious brighter lighting in parking garage & hallways also. Update elevators with some that have AC. Do this and you be making much more money. Again, not a bad hotel. Just needs some minor TLC except for the elevators expense.

My family and i recently stayed at this resort off an impromptu. I’ve read a lot of reviews and some were good and others were like “oh no”. So here’smy review. The hotel definitely could use some renovating. I’m sure it’s been there for years, but definitely upgrades are needed. Personally , the carpet should go, and those rigged walls. Idk it’s something about those that give a me chill bumps. The rooms were nice. I’m a neat freak so I bought Lysol wipes to wipe down things. The shower wasn’t all the way clean. And when i say that i mean where the glass door rolls back , down in that area had dirt like particles and that red residue. I call it growing mold. Also the night stand wasn’t clean all the way, had dirt spots on the side. But again I have a phobia in being in not so clean places so i look for everything in all cracks and crevices. The pool wasn’t nice. Swim up bar was okay. I saw when someone said the lazy river was green water. Okay yall , be fr . The hotel is very old. The water isn’t green, it’s just the reflection from the walls of the cement in the pool . After while that chlorine damages the walls. I think the hotel was pretty decent. Again if they pull that carpet up and house-keeping really clean like they are suppose to, then it’ll be no problems.

    Everything was perfect

Room was updated and generally clean, with kitchen and balcony overlooking the beach. Only downside was the lobby was kind of small and not very inviting but it's an older building and is oddly designed Would absolutely stay here again.
