hotel BLUE

We had so much fun at this hotel. The pool is clean and we loved the swim up bar and music. It has a great ocean view. Easy access parking. Staff was friendly and hotel was clean. This will be our go to hotel now.

Location

This property needs a lot of work. My room wasn't ready when I got there, (not unexpected as I arrived around 1pm. Not a big deal). I was given the option to hang out at the pool until the room was ready. Not a bad option if I didnt have a bunch of luggage to haul. I opted to sit in the lobby. As I sat in 1 of 2 or 3 chairs I looked around. Everything was grimey and in need of painting/replacing. I gave it the benefit of the doubt. Then I got to my room (relatively quickly. Gross doesn't begin to cover what I found. Admittedly, Im a bit OCD about clean bathrooms and always 1st visually inspect the toilet and wipe the seat. There was dried mystery substance on the seat. I wiped it down and the wipe was brown. There were stains, fingerprints and smudges on most surfaces. I proceeded to bleach wipe everything. The wipe I used on one of the nightstands came away with a black handprint. There was a sticky substance in the refrigerator. The bedding appeared clean, no bed bugs seen and believe me , I looked. My rate was non refundable and now the room was clean so I went to the pool. No towels available. This was a recurring issue all week. I had no hot water in the shower until day 3. The 1st morning after arrival, I went to their sister property to see if they gave a similar room available to make a lateral move. They were booked. The manager on duty there was wonderful and Im sorry I dont remember her name. She walked over to speak with management about the lack of and .

Didn't like the broken down air compressor in front of the room door. Bathroom is so small couldn't even comfortably get toilet paper. Someone needs to clean tracks in shower door. Refrigerator needs replaced. here are no shelves and the hardware is very rusty and old. Bedsheets did not look clean, I slept in my clothes. Chair was dirty and had a foul smell. Staff was friendly and the ocean view was wonderful BUT that's it.

Good location. Staff was helpful. Room was clean. Great views and convenient parking. Only feedback is the rinse station is by the outdoor pool. People come off the beach, rinse off by the pool, and it gets crowded and sand piles up. Seems like it wasn’t in the best place. DJ playing music throughout the day was great and created an upbeat atmosphere.

Hotel was ok. Our room wasn’t the cleanest. The pool was nice.

The unit was pretty run down. The staff was awesome. The kind of people that were there were the kind of people you see at a 7-Eleven parking lot at 3:00 a.m. Sketchy folks. I was pretty scared of the whole scene. The bedroom pull out couch was pretty dirty and I was under the impression that I had a suite with two bathrooms but there was only one. I was supposed to have a view of the ocean but only had a view of people who are sketchy. I will never stay there again. At least the staff was nice. I guess that's all I want to say about that.

Ok hotel for a weekend.

The room was clean and had an oceanside balcony, and the pool was clean. The balconies overlooked the pool, however, and there was fairly loud, poolside live music 11 am-11 pm. The parking garage that was attached was a great convenience.

especially the lobby area. I couldn't use the pool, it was green!!! The elevator was in terrible condition. The place isn't like it looks in the pics. DEFINITELY 0 STARS…

The place was very nice but .we were by the parking garage so the noise all hours of the night loud music, car alarms going off,and alot of yelling.

Cleanliness of room was less than par. Didnt have sheets or blankets for pull out beds, not even at the counter.

The location was good Arrived a little after 4pm to check in and was told that my room wasn’t ready but that it would be ready soon and they will waive the parking fee. Fast Forward to almost two hours later and didn’t receive a text/call if the room was ready. Went and talk to the receptionist who was doing her job and listening to whatever the manager was saying. We were then told that the room was cleaned and just needed to be inspected. So we went to the corner store and returned back 15 minutes later and still no room. The receptionist took it upon herself to go inspect the room and that’s when we were able to check in 2 plus hours later.
