Polynesian Beach & Golf Resort

When I went to book this hotel, there was a lot of bad reviews while I’m here to tell you that they’re all wrong. It was a great place to stay close to the beach and places to eat the hotel. Staff was great. I will be back again.

We got down there and looked at the room its nothing like the pictures its run down and very dirty and gross we didnt even stay one night in the place after seeing it

That said, I had a room with "resort view", and first of all what resort?? this place is a dump, and my "view" was the inside pool glass, on the ground floor, in a covered shed like area, so I had to close the courtains and shut the doors otherwise every single person going to and from the pool would have a view of my room's insides! I paid WAY LESS money for one-star motels in the middle of nowhere that were luxury compared to this crap. The room had two doors/entrances, both basically on the street, so given the sketchy people moving around the property all night, it's like double chances to have someone breaking in, being basically three steps away from the main street. To top it all off, I emailed them the day before to ask how early could I check in if there was a room available, since I had a place to be and anything would've been helpful... well, the responded the day of check in, half hour AFTER check in time, stating "you can check in anytime now, as it's past the usual checkin time". no sht sherlock! And the $16+ "resort fee"??? what the heck was that for??? Even the roach that scattered under the bed was questioning that!

Les appareils de climatisation font un bruit infernal, particulièrement insupportable la nuit, et il y a zéro insonorisation. La clientèle n'aide pas: pas de respect pour les espaces communs ni des réglementations de vie en hotel… Bon, pour finir sur 1 note positive: le personnel d’accueil est très sympathique et serviable, les lits sont confortables et la location sur la plage excellente. Mais on n’y retournera pas avant qu’il y ait des rénovations importantes (et pas juste des coups de peinture sur le plafond qui s’écaille)… Bref, à éviter.

The building is very scary looking, It needs new paint everywhere. The room smelled funny and the window air conditioning units are rusty and leaking everywhere. The pool was supposed to be open at 9:00 and at 9:15 the maintenance man came to put chemicals in it and still didn't open it till 9:30. The location is great but it is not worth it.

I went to the desk immediately, and they told me they would have another room for me the next day I told him because I could not breathe there. It was in the hallway, suffocating. The room was old. There were roaches rust all over the appliances, patchwork all over molding chipped patched with cook floors were sand then I went the next morning and it still wasn’t ready. Then I went the other morning. It still wasn’t ready. Three days later I had to contact hotel.com to get me moved never again. They moved me to another room, but there was still roaches. The floor floors are all sandy. It’s just awful.

The staff was rude and not helpful with questions. When ask about parking gave more attitude because parking lot was full. Had rust and dirt in the bathroom .

We stayed for 5 nights and not once was our room cleaned! We had to walk to the main lobby everyday for linens! The floors were disgusting there was dog poop everywhere you walked in the building! The pizza guy wouldn’t even bring our food to our room! We left on the 5th day and had a roach crawling on our floor ( we took pics) I will never stay here again and don’t recommend it!!

Pictures are nothing like actual property. Rooms were somewhat clean but outdated and worn. Pools were not maintained, especially indoor pool. Alot of things could be improved. Not a place I would recommend to anyone

Don't drive your truck into the garage. Youll scrape the top of the cab. Its a low ceiling and unmarked. Parking is limited. The location in the beach is excellent. The people were fantastic to me. The hotel itself is dated but I got a great deal on price to value for a single night. Ill stay there again.

The shower was disgusting, the sliding door was messed up and the freezer was moldy---ugh

The online description is a little bit of a lie

The room was clean, the staff was friendly and I was pleasantly surprised to find our room had a stove and sink in it. Lots of parking in the parking garage area. Very enjoyable stay.

I enjoy staying at unique places that include motels. However, I could not stay here-- and I didn't. Even though I had a reservation I just could not stay here. I left and stayed at a hotel down the street.

Need to be more professional

The only thing I would recommend is giving the hotel a little renovation and updating some of the facilities, as they could use a more modern touch. Other than that, I had a pleasant stay and would consider staying here again.

What I didn't like was that the room door was rested and stuck and the balcony door we couldn't open the door to get out cause it was rusted, but overall maintenance did come and Fix somewhat. The problem able to get In-N-Out of the balcony door just wouldn't close all the way back on the balcony door. #Room603 Thanks for the stay.

This place is a complete dump. Was dirty. Wasn't even a outlet to plug the lamp i. They had. hole in the wall with phone jack dangling. Hole in entertainment center, wich looked like they picked it out of the garbage. Spiderwebs. The lock to the door was loose. Very unsafe
