Manager Matthew customer service is horrible

It was a decent stay. We were just a block away from the beach. We arrived on Thursday evening and left Sunday morning. The pool was decent for the kids especially after sundown. The only drawback was climbing the stairs to the 5th floor. The elevator was so slow, I would beat everyone to the 5th floor every time. I turned that into my workout 14 steps per floor. 👍

I had a scare with the elevator.It had stopped and we sounded the alarm. After that I didn’t get back on. Staff friendly and right across from the beach. Toilet got stopped up twice. They gave me a plugger.

The whole experience

The property was old rundown. The staff was rude, and there was a lot of drug activities going on through the night. I will never go there again nor will I recommend this place to an enemy.

This place was so horrible. After check in we left to find something else. I wasn't going to get my money back but it didn't matter, there was no way we could stay there. My daughter told a giant roach it couldn't stay and kicked it out the door to the outside and the door wasn't even open! You could see the outside all around 3 sides, a whole 2 inches busted off the bottom of the door. The bed was right by that door with no AC, only in the other end , the front room had AC. The sliding glass door didn't shut completely & it was really difficult to open. The toilet was working properly. The elevator was so tiny, hot, & dilapidated, it didn't work well, which had everyone waiting so long. Every where I looked it was just dirty, crumbling, outdated, & unsafe( in so many ways!) The photos had us thinking it was doable, but don't be deceived.

Great service

I had hair dye in my hair and was sweating a little while sleeping. Some of the dye got on the pillow and they said it couldn’t be cleaned so they charged me a fee for something I had no control of. I did have a towel over the pillow though to protect it. SMH!

Patio doors are old m dont close

Staff was helpful! Beds were comfortable.

Balcony was good, ac made a racket when on. Balcony door wouldn’t shut all the way. Pics are very misleading of rooms.

Pros: - Our room was pretty clean and had a full size kitchen - The view faced the ocean - Hotel had a pool - Easy Beach access across the street - AC worked well Cons: - Elevator doesn't work well - No wifi on the 8th floor - No counter chairs or coffee table that were shown in the online photos - No cookware or utensils (we had brought most of our own just in case, but had to buy forks) - Sink handle was broken and water damage under the sink - Balcony doors were extremely hard to open/close - Bed was hard and springy - No Standard hotel things like hairdryer, iron, ironing board - No doorhole to the main hall for security purposes

Instead of carpet put the tile floor or vinyl floor that would be more better other than everything is good front desk both guys are helpful

The elevator worked when it wanted their was a couple fighting under me also someone overdosed and the ambulance had to be called and also my 9 year old was afraid to go to sleep

As soon as I got there to check in, they had a bad smell. I was very scared. It was dangerous. They gave us keys to the sixth floor when you walk up the stairs cause the elevator did not work every smell every floor. The door wouldn’t open we had to kick the door open. It was filthy. It was nasty. It was disgusting went back down to the front desk. The lady gave back my deposit and I told her that this was not what I expected. She said OK gave me my money back and said she was sorry

It was a nice property. It’s just old. The room was nice, the room was clean. The elevator reminds you of a slow Tower of Terror, Front desk was very welcoming. Hard to understand the dude on Saturday night, but the guy at checkout was super. Overall excellent experience.

Unfortunately, the hotel itself was very disappointing. The room was old, dirty, and definitely not worth $200 per night. The air conditioner was extremely loud, making it difficult to sleep. The elevator was very slow, and there was an unpleasant smell inside. The terrace was in terrible condition. The key card frequently stopped working and had to be reactivated. We also found hair on the bed and on the towels. The carpet was dirty, and the furniture was old, worn out, and in poor condition. Overall, this hotel needs major improvements in cleanliness and maintenance.

Homeless people were sleeping in the stairwell. The coffee maker didn’t work. Glass patio door didn’t open. It seemed to be a trap house for drugs.
