South Seas Ocean Front

There was nothing unique about that property. I will never ever stay there again. It was dirty.

The room had leaks in the ceiling, the hotel locked the indoor pool to lock non-residents out but it locked residents out too. The location was good and the front desk staff was nice. This is a dive hotel that’s in disrepair and looks cheap because it is. The pictures in the listing are misleading and do not trust them.

The well lit pool. The location was awesome. Great staff. Plenty of parking. You can smoke on property but not in room which is great. Close to a lot of good places. Have picnic tables n grills. We will return. N/A. It was awesome place to stay

The entire property smelled like pee, I mean outside too. The unit was surprisingly clean on the inside except for some dirty towels under the bathroom sink. It smelled like someone has smoked cigarettes in there recently. The wifi was out and the TV didn't work either

Parking is free in front of the hotel. It is beach facing but your stay will spoil everything.

The view was amazing.

This is expedia fault. Talk about false advertising. First expedia has a building the in the advertising that is condemned. Even the motel made me aware after I paid. The hotel itself was disgusting. I had to sleep on top of the covers so I would not disturb anything in the mattress. I had to kill 2 bugs and there was a big dead water bug in the bathroom. I was up at 6 that morning looking for a better stay. There was no way I could endure another night.

The most concerning issue was the smoke/carbon monoxide alarm repeatedly going off in our original room. Maintenance came to investigate, removed the unit from the wall, and told us it was fixed. After being told it may have involved carbon monoxide, I checked the alarm myself and discovered the battery had been installed incorrectly. Once I installed it correctly, the alarm continued going off Constantly. The only thing that seemed to stop it was opening the door and letting fresh air into the room. The hotel eventually moved us to another room, but the handling of a potential safety issue was unacceptable. Unfortunately, the second room had multiple problems of its own. The balcony door was missing its handle and had duct tape covering the opening where the handle should have been. The refrigerator was not cooling properly, resulting in food we had purchased being ruined. We also discovered there was no hot water when I stepped into the shower. Throughout our stay, we encountered numerous cleanliness and maintenance concerns, including water-damaged and stained bathroom ceilings, dirty baseboards and corners, stains on the bathroom floor, a shower that was not properly cleaned, a heavily rusted refrigerator, and what appeared to be an insect larva or casing on the floor. We also noticed numerous free-roaming cats throughout the property and trash scattered around several areas, making parts of the property feel neglected and poorly maintained.

There was drug use by the front desk AS I was checking in and prostitution on the premises in full view. The rooms were in horrific shape and the entire building smelled of urine.

The beach access is what you’re paying for. The saying “ getting your money worth”. The price was great. The property was not clean. feral cats everywhere. Drug use on property. No Wi-Fi. The first room the refrigerator didn’t work. Had to pay to upgrade my room to get a working refrigerator. No towels in the room. Rooms are not cleaned. Recommend to singles or couples that are not planning to spend that much time in rooms. Staff was good.
