Westgate Myrtle Beach Oceanfront Resort

The room was really nice and clean. The pool area was very nice. I just wish my room was a little bigger.

Standard 2 queen bedrooms are smaller but it fit our family of 4 perfectly. Staff were friendly and helpful. Beach view was chef kiss. Location was so close to everything. We would definitely come again and recommend it to others.

Love the location, the staff was friendly, would have liked a restaurant closer by or in the resort area. Loved the hot tub and lazy river property is a little dated, pools could have been cleaner and another hot tub would have been nice, other than that it was a great place

Clean rooms

Rooms were clean and nice. I had to pay $150 to have my dog. The dog area was unacceptable!! Visitors are encouraged to bring their pets but no decent area for them. Resort gave a small area for bathroom and exercise. The area was unclean and the smell was unreal. So, my dog had to walk in other dogs Diarrhea stool. I should get a refund !!!

My hotel stay was excellent. I could see the resortneeded a little TLC but that may only be because I’m operating engineer. The cost of the nightlife was out of sight! There’s an additional 5% cost on all alcoholic beverages on top of the sales tax. Who knew? Now you do!

We were on a golf vacation so we didn't use all the amenities. They have a restaurant in the resort but they won't deliver to your room. If your garbage gets full you have to put it in hall or they won't take it (if someone told us it wouldn't have been a big deal!).

The location only being located at myrtle beach. I have a crucial complaint and no one will give me email address to proper person. I looked on website for email address and sent them the concern I dont know if its right email or I'm just being ignored. We will never return A response to my concern

The room was clean, the staff was nice. The view was ok, the VERY bright lights stay on over the pool all night, which is annoying when you want to look at the ocean, or leave your blinds open. I choose this hotel for the amenities, but highly disappointed The pools close at 10pm and the pool bar closes at 830pm. The restaurant closes at 10pm also, and their convenience store closes at 8pm. If you stay up past 8pm, the amenities are useless. Also check out is at 10am, which we felt was unusual and annoying.
