Marriott's OceanWatch at Grande Dunes

The resort amenities were better than anticipated. I like the treehouse. I like the kids pool area. Lots of luggage carts easily available. The beach was very nice although it was a hike from the Pine building. I liked it so much I came into the Sales office ready to buy points without financing the offer. The deal was almost finalized but the staff was not professional and they had many inconsistencies in their knowledge of what was actually/eligible for sale. When I arrived, my room was not ready, that’s OK because I arrived at 2:30 PM. I came back to the desk just after 4 PM to check in and get my room key, but I was informed my room was still not ready. I did not understand because I thought check-in was at 4 PM. The staff told me that check-in starts at 4 PM, but it doesn’t mean your room is ready. I wad upset because I felt misled. One lady was nice, but the rest of the staff was pretty rude.

The best stay I have ever had

Excellent property the only issues we had was with the shower in the primary bathroom not draining properly and the ceiling fan in the primary bedroom not functioning properly. We didn’t stay long so it wasn’t a huge issue as the ac was adequate and the shower was the worse the last day of our stay.

It was very and the view of the ocean was awesome. The location was very convenient and quiet. There was nothing I didn’t like about the property. We really enjoyed the property.

Everything was perfect

I didn't like being on 1s floor Someone from there called me Wednesday ask me what floor would I like. I said 5th floor up. They put me on 1st floor. Then in master bathroom I ran water into bathtub water it was orange rusted looking I took pictures show to manager. She said another guess had same problem with water.

Everything They tried to over charge me. And it took a while to find my room. Services needs improvement

Very well maintained Rooms say ocean view but not all rooms have a good ocean view. We were on first floor with balcony on the side facing another building and the pools. You couldn’t see the ocean at all from inside the room.

2 Bedroom Villa, Bedroom 1: 1 King, Bedroom 2: 2 Queen, Sofa bed, Oceanfront, Balcony In pictures the balcony has end pieces for decoration and that's main reason booking this room. However, it was just a plain balcony rails on all balconies.......photo of one expected in gallery

The staff was amazing and property very kid friendly Renovations and the floor we stayed on was very cold due to contractors leaving entrance and exit doors open.

Rude staff (2nd trip in less than a month they were rude first time too). Both times beds are WORN out!!! Trash in shrubbery and all around the property.
