Location was great. The hotel is a little dated but the rooms were fine. The wood floor vs carpet does make it feel cleaner. I had an ocean view, not ocean front. It was nice to see the ocean from the balcony but I couldn't hear the waves. It was loud because of the air conditioning units outside of the building and noices from the adjacent hotel and cars, etc... I would splurge for ocean front next time. The on-sight restaurant, Salt & Lime, was very good. There was coffee in the gift shop for $1 and change so priced well. Overall for the price, it's a good deal.

The indoor pool near the arcade does need a little TLC.

The phrase you get what you pay for is relevant here. The hotel is old and so are its amenities. The staff was very nice. The hotel kitchen/bar reminded me of a Chucky Cheese with a bar. The Salt and Lime restaurant was more modern but lacked maintaining the outdoor patio area with torn and missing gazebo awnings and moldy patio furniture cushions. The Beach at the hotel was not what I expected, there was plastic utensils, bottle caps and other trash in the sand where my chair was placed. We arrived on a Saturday and paid until the following Saturday. We left that Wednesday. We did not, nor were we expected to be refunded. Now granted just shy of $1500 for a hotel is super cheap. Again, the staff was nice, and the surrounding restaurants did have good food. Lesson learned and will do more hotel research in the future.

Great place!!

Kids liked the fact we had waterpark and lazy river plus ocean front. Nearby restaurants were also a plus and my kids also liked the mini golf with arcade. There was also a beach store next door and place you could order a pizza and ice cream.

The rooms were clean but very dated. The furniture was worn. Also, the bathroom was very clean but very small. The oceanfront balcony was the best offering of the room. The front desk staff was very friendly & helpful. At check-in everything was well-explained. Salt & Lime restaurant is very up-to-date. However, the bartenders significantly vary in their mixology. Overall, perfect location for a family with the need for room renovations.

Rooms are in very poor conditions and dirty. Management doesn’t have proper communication skills.

Nice property. Need to upgrade in some areas

The beach view was Amazing!! Our room was clean and the staff were friendly. The pool and the waterpark were clean and we enjoyed both. I would stay here again.

We booked one room with two queen beds for our family of four, including two children under the age of seven. Unfortunately, the room was extremely dirty when we arrived. The floor was not only visibly unclean but also surprisingly slippery. Within minutes of entering the room, my son slipped and fell twice. We ended up using one of the towels to wipe down the floor ourselves because it felt unsafe. The floor was so dirty that you couldn’t comfortably walk around barefoot. Overall, while the beachfront location and friendly front desk staff were appreciated, the cleanliness of the room was unacceptable and significantly impacted our stay.

Check in was terrible on Engines part!
-
Beds had dirty sheets and covers. Floors dirty, drains in the bathtub was clogged, a/c unit leaking all over the floor. Front staff during check-in was not very pleasant

Beach view was beautiful, room was most definitely not worth the 695$. Room looked like it underwent water damaged, I was given a occupied room with a father & daughter, thank god that didnt go bad with my kids & I entering a room that was occupied.

This property was terrible. One star is even too much. When I pulled up, I immediately knew it wasn’t a good place. We parked and walked to the door which was dirty with hand prints all over it. The lobby wasn’t anything special which is fine, but cleanliness isn’t their thing. All of the glass doors had hand prints all over them. I checked in and went to my room. The toilet had long black hair all over it, the sheets were stained, the headboard looked like it was wiped down with a dirty cloth, and the sliding glass doors had handprints all over it. I went back downstairs to tell a manager what was wrong and that I wanted a refund to go somewhere else. The two kids at the desk told me the manager left and it’s just them. They ended up calling the manager who came back. He couldn’t do anything about anything because he wasn’t a higher up manager to make decisions. So basically they have two young kids who check people in and out, that’s it. No manager on site to help with anything. Couldn’t even call the manager who could help. Said she was there from 9-1, then leaves. I called back several times the next day to talk about a refund, but she didn’t answer. Left a voicemail, and 4 days later still no return call. Expedia can’t even get ahold of the manager multiple days later. This place doesn’t look like the pictures, and is useless when it comes to helping the customer. Save yourself the frustration and go somewhere else
