North Shore Oceanfront Resort Hotel with Waterpark

First of all, I purchased the ocean front and we didn't got it. It was a corner view, also I think it was with the kitchen, but it was nothing there except 2 queen beds. There was any ice machine working there. The girls on front desk.They try to be nice and telling next time a little bit later we will have some.But first 2days, we didn't have it. So we did not like it at all and I do not recommend to no body . This has been second time that we have been screwed up with Expedia, you guys have to make sure that you're giving us the right informations before you put online

Dealt with roaches; reported to front desk; no switching of rooms or anything!! Children in room above us were running and playing at 1 am and we were trying to sleep; reported and nothing was done! People smoking marijuana on balcony and the smell leaks into our room each time; reported and again nothing done even though the property is nonsmoking!! Room was not properly cleaned at check in; cleaned it myself and nothing was done or even a room switch!! The tub appeared to have sink holes or either termite damage underneath. People on the beach till 2 am outside the hotel shooting loud fireworks while we were trying to sleep; reported and once again nothing was ever done!! Roaches in the pools and hot tub!! Just nasty!! Everything was reported properly to front staff. All we got was an apology and no effort. No remedy or solution to any problem; no room change nor discount for the inconveniences!! Just brushed off like we didn’t matter!! This used to be our favorite place to stay but we agreed that we will not stay here any longer.

Amazing beach views and clean and calm area. Salt and lime restaurant has great cocktails and food too

Refrigerator didn’t work.

Outdoor pool and lazy river are nice. I have never seen such a dirty indoor pool. I told the person at the desk the pool was dirty and she said “They just cleaned the decks.” They do not have any maid service no matter how long you stay.. you have to carry dirty towels to desk to trade for clean towels. They do not provide additional toilet paper or trash bags. You have to sit your trash out in hallway bins before you leave or you will be charged. Blow dryer on wall does not work, safe in room does not work, drapes would not close all the way. Terrible experience.

First, I was under the impression that the waterpark would be attached to the hotel but i had to play Blues Clues to find it. Second, the hallways were dingy, the ice maker didnt work and my room door didnt close on its own. I had to force it closed. I called the front desk to get my room cleaned, the hotel next door answered and had to transfer me to my hotel I was staying in. Even after I left the room for a few hours, the room still wasnt clean. Otherwise, my kids enjoyed the waterpark but my husband and I were not satisfied with the above mentioned. Hopefully this property can clean this up.

Great stay clean rooms nice staff

Overall hotel facility was dated and dirty. The floor in our room was not vacuumed with lots of food and sand everywhere. Toilet was gross, sink and tub didn’t drain. Trash bags and used towels everywhere.

Beach view, was really only partial. Had better view of roof top ac unit below.

Pool wasn't very clean, our room smelled, it said it had a water park and lazy river when I booked but it was located next door at another hotel. We had to walk quite away. I wont ever book with that hotel again. Very disappointed.

Staff great. Resort very clean. Access to what we needed they had everything. Waterpark alone worth it. Rooms a bit outdated but satisfactory. Overall this place is great. Will return

The hotel was alright, classic Myrtle beach hotel. The staff was friendly, the pools were nice. The beach access was easy to get to. My one main complaint was our AC unit made a noise like there was paper stuck in the fan. It was super loud and awful to sleep through. I asked the front desk in the middle of the night to send someone as soon as they could to check it out. No one came all day the next day. I ended up buying ear plugs on the off chance it didn’t get fixed. The 3 days we were there no one came to look at it. Super frustrating and crappy

Rooms already . But we had roaches in our room and one but was big as a small mice. Want stay here again.

The rooms was clean when we got in them but after that was not clean. We stayed 6 nights and we did not get any house keeping cleaning. We had sand on floor I asked for a broom to clean it and was told house keeping would take care of it and they did not. Had to ask for clean towels 3 times and had to ask for toilet paper and new trash bags once. After check in we had no house keeping at all very disappointed. Check in was at 4pm and we didnt get into our room till 5:15 pm.

Will stay again!
