North Shore Oceanfront Resort Hotel with Waterpark

It was a lot going on when we checked in people fussed at front desk clerk and a party was going on at the time, my room didn’t have any hanger for my clothes and shelf was too high couldn’t put anything on it.

Everything was clean and stuff, I couldn’t really complain too much BESIDES…the picture on here is NOT where this is. That’s the sister hotel..this one has ONE pool nothing else. I paid for oceanfront…I was “other hotel front” when I asked about changing my room bc ya know I PAID for oceanfront, they ignored me. And they are greedy with towels 😂 everything else was fine, I didn’t hangout there much.

Staff was very helpful and courteous. View wasn't all bad from the side of the building. The pool had a lot to be desired if you're bringing kids. Rooms were clean but nothing spectacular.

Beautiful view. Very friendly staff. The pool got shut down after.our first day so we were.not able to swim in the outdoor pool and the indoor one was cold.

We loved it here!! We never had to leave the grounds unless we wanted too!! My oldest complaint was the worse couch of my life was in that room. Now don't get me wrong I'd stay here again but I'd bring bag chairs to sit in instead it was so bad!

Nothing all was good.

The room was nice and clean. The only issue was the coffee pot had a dirty pod in it. The view was awesome. The pool was nice. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. The pool was nice, but by the pictures I was expecting the lazy river. My husband said he thinks it was at a neighboring hotel and that we can go use it. We just stayed at the hotel pool, which was fine, and we did enjoy ourselves. I was disappointed they do not provide coffee in the lobby. After finding the dirty coffee pod, I ended up driving to a convenience store.

You had everything there didn't have to leave the resort. Nothing all was good.

All the advertised extras are attached to Sand Dunes resort but if you cut through a little walkway you’re right there at them! Really enjoyed the waterpark, hot tub and mini golf, the arcade could use a little more. First night we ate at the Beachfront restaurant at the hotel, not up to my standards. The bar at this restaurant is phenomenal however. I do recommend taking the extra short walk down to River City Cafe (we had dinner there the second night) WELL worth the dinner price compared to the Beachfront. The cleanliness rating came from our hallways, the ladies staying next to us on the left had towels outside of their room all weekend, the nice couple to the right of us had a lollipop stuck to the carpet outside their door for a day and a half. Overall we will probably book here again. The convenience of everything is pretty unbeatable.

Room had mold on the ceiling, no cleaning service, had to get our own fresh towels. No way to clean sand up out of the floor. I was charged more for the room than what Expedia quoted. They refused to give me a receipt. Accommodations were terrible. Will never stay at this establishment again.
