Good location from restaurants and shopping and things to do and on the beach No fridge or microwave in the room for the cost

The staff was very friendly and extremely helpful. The outside pool and patio was lovely! Room was clean but dated. The room was a bit dated and the carpet has definitely got to go!

The hotel itself is clean, great pool, beautiful area. We had a great first few ,however our beach was closed for the last 3 days of our trip. We were not notified and we paid for beach access. I felt that we should be compensated for the inconvenience.

Location Nothing

The bar staff again was rude, bed was hard, and outdoors light was not on. I will start staying else where for a while.

They had everything we needed for our stay and the property is within walking distance to almost everything.

From the staff to the facilities, everything was so great. My kids had a blast is the pool and we enjoyed the free breakfast, location is also great, we will definitely go back and book at The Strand again. Everything was great!

Parking was an inconvenience , the room felt real cramped no room to move comfortably. Bathroom needs updating. Could not enjoy access to Beach because of bulldozers plowing up beach for the 2 days we were there.

Makes my fourth year staying there I love everything about the strand. I do have one complaint that has changed for the breakfast buffet. I did not like and my grandkids did not like the brown gravy that they served the whole week. We were there what happened to the white gravy like breakfast gravy and it would be great if y’all could add waffles again, but I definitely did not like the brown gravy other than that, I will be back in August to stay with you all again. Hopefully we will have white gravy. Thank you.

I like that they had a restaurant and bar with access to a poolside setting Pool and hot tub was outside but in a nice location. Having a parking deck available however..... There were roaches in the microwave and in other locations of the room. I had to request a remote control because one was not in the room. The bathroom door knob kept breaking off. The shower knob was faulty. Parking deck was too stink and narrow turns or big trucks and SUVs

great location excellent view of the atlantic ocean! Breakfast was good, will definitely stay again on our next stay in Myrtle Beach, highly recommended. Didn't try the bar but will next time. The place feels a little out dated, could use some upgrades in the rooms and the facilities. The area is a little far off the hustle and bustle of Myrtle Beach.

The beach We were put in undesirable and requested room on the 4th floor which was assured that the lower 2nd floor would be available I did ask the front desk to exchange but she said no cause it was booked that was our earlier on requested room , plus the floor and counter was instantly getting wet from condensation from the air condition which was brought to maintenance attention but nothing was done so we suffered through it all.David the GM was not available to talk to cause he just popped in at anytime.

Customer service Convenience

The room was perfect, with excellent views. Very friendly staff. The breakfast was so good and it was something different everyday. I cannot say anything bad about this place, my husband and I will not stay anywhere else.

Stayed for 4 days.. No microwave or mini fridge in room. . . . . The front desk staff was not pleasant. Gave us our "free" gift hours before checkout time, which was discounted tickets and things we could have used the whole 4 days we was there. Couldn't even move around in the shower it was so small.. They put a $100 hold on my card for any damages, but everything was already broken or dirty when we entered the room.
