Breakfast ok, staff nice but slovenly in dress We were let into our room forty-five minutes late (yes, we had accepted a free glass of wine for our inconvenience), the desk personnel had no people skills, and the staff in general just didn't quite understand what was best to do, though no one was rude or uncivil. A maitre d' who sat near where we were waiting grossly overacted his welcoming role to no good effect. The next morning, after a so-so breakfast, we sat briefly where we'd sat the day before and noticed that nothing had been cleaned, the same scraps were on the floor, the mat by the restaurant door was covered with stuff. We were told, oh, someone will come and clean all that at 11 am. What this place needs is a new manager, a clearer understanding of what matters for hotel guests, and better hires in general.

The location was great. The outdoor pool was fantastic. We loved the free shuttle and all the drivers. We never used our own car once we checked in. The included breakfast was delicious! We would have loved a balcony option. Also, there’s no place to hand wet bathing suits (or anything, for that matter) in the bathroom.

The restaurant floor was not clean. Outside area had broken glasson the ground. The hotel added 25 Usd for réservation through booking.com and 8.59 usd without any explanation. The invoice was never presented or sent by email. The receptionist is not smiling to the guests, seems moody.

Attention to every detail from the liquor, snacks and robes in the room, to every room having a gorgeous view of the water and boats, and the delicious breakfast that was included. The staff was very friendly and helpful Nothing

Beautiful luxury hotel.. we will definitely be back. Staff so nice and helpful, very personable. Breakfast was great. Liked that there was a menu and not just a buffet that might be wasted. The shuttle service was so nice not to worry about parking and moving our car. Room beautiful with great shower, comfort and view gorgeous looking over water. I can’t think of a thing

Beautiful. Great views and clean Off putting reception. Desk clerk was almost annoyed we were checking in. A good natured hello would be fine.

Undisclosed $25 service charge that is noted no where on Booking.com. Informed front desk staff this was not noted anywhere when booking and would not waive fee. For such a small amount of money, found it very odd there was no flexibility on this deceptive practice.

Front desk staff was okay. The property itself is lovely along with its restaurant. The staff at the restaurant were lovely.

Went for our anniversary and loved it. Excellent service, beautiful restaurant with excellent food and views. Loved the shuttle service to downtown (although was an easy walk had the weather been nicer!) Will definitely return!

Beautiful new hotel with amazing views right on the Mystic River. Only tiny complaint—pillows were too high and that was the only option. Maybe have a variety of firmness. The rooms are beautifully decorated with great attention to detail. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Will stay again.
