Staff was very helpful but it wasn’t a very nice or clean hotel overall. There were signs up saying forgive us while it’s being renovated but the hall I was on didn’t have work being done. Just dirty carpets and strange smell. The room didn’t smell bad but not great either. Definitely cleaner in the room than the hall and rest of the property.

The place needs to be torn down. There were stains on the bed, mold in the shower, some kind of spatter on the walls, the hallways smelled like a combination of urine and trash, we were unable to get out money back since "we had paid in full", therefore, we were penalized for paying in advance. Go figure. We were moved to another room which was slightly better but still not good. The beds had minimal blankets and pillows were awful. There was only 1 lamp in the room. The outside light outside our room shined into our room all night. We asked a woman (heavy set with many tatoos) if they could shut it off and she said no and to close the curtains. We already had the curtains closed but the light came through around them. The outside of the building looked nothing like the photos. Staff said this second room was renovated but it was still very poor condition. This was the worst part of our trip.

We stayed here for access to the pool and to visit the Aquarium the next day. For the $ this place's pool is better than the Hilton up the hill (and like 3Xs cheaper). I would stay again, at a good price (shoulder season), if it was for 1 night so the kids could swim but would change rooms if we got a smokey one.

The room was mostly clean, bathroom was a little dirty. They don’t offer breakfast, just a 10% discount at the diner next door which was not mentioned before checking in. They’re renovating so it smells like paint and noisy. The actual yard areas are messy with debris and not mowed. The pool was okay except they left the dead bugs from the filter all over the floors and had a real loud machine running the whole time. The vending machine gave the wrong items. They also only change towels and sheets every three days unless you request more. It being next to the diner was nice for quick meals and not fighting traffic. Walking distance to olde Mistick village was nice. The air conditioner wouldn’t keep the fan on and the backsliders wouldn’t open either. Overall it was decent but for $100+ night I’d have preferred towels and sheets. There’s no coffee maker or anything in the rooms either.

Dirty floors, no breakfast, deck clerk not nice, propert is very old and poorly maintainer. Sliding glass door would not lock.

The worst was the stairway to get to the room smelled awful & the rug was very dirty. The staff we interacted with were very polite.

Major lack of basic amenities in a $380 room. No cups in room, I bar of soap to share between sink & shower, hairdryer didn't work, learned with wer hair. Lights worked but fixtures all cracked.

Room and bed were comfortable and clean. Hallways seemed much less so. Faucet in our room was not working well. OK for a quick overnight stay.

I especially liked that the Hotel had luggage carts, and an excellent TV, convenient handicapped parking, great size of microwave and refrigerator with freezer, and great internet. I also liked that the lobby bathroom was kept clean. And I also liked that there was great water pressure in the shower and the water was comfortably hot and not medium hot. I especially liked how Hotel Employee deVita was so nice to us. She brought a luggage cart out to our entrance door which made unloading our stuff much more convenient. This was very much appreciated. I will be a repeat customer because of deVita! I did not like that the Hotel did not provide a coffeemaker in the guestroom. The restaurant next door was supposed to give us a discount when we showed our room key to our waitress but the restaurant's manager was not aware of any such arrangement. The room next to our room was being renovated during our stay so we were awake at sunrise to the sounds of drilling and hammering. We were not offered any compensation for this. Our bathroom did not have safety bars installed. The patio outside our room was surrounded by a fence that had been torn apart, allowing our patio to be viewed from the visitors to the restaurant next to us.

Didn’t even stay it was so bad- had to be evacuated due to fire alarm and physical altercation between manager and guest. Never refunded Booking.com should sever ties with this property

The room had a nice mattress. There were nice towels. The room had rusty ceiling supports. There was water damage on the ceiling over the desk. The carpet needs a good cleaning. The place is under construction and partway into a remodel. The staff wasn't attentive. they were on their phones and didn't notice me at check in or checkout. They were going through the motions. Glad we only stayed one night on a longer trip across the region.

The bathroom is full of mold on walls and ceiling, the shower drains slow. There are two sinks and a shower, but only one soap to move between the 3. l I killed 2 spiders in the room between the AC unit and my bed. There is an ice bucket but no glasses to pour the ice into or even get a sip of water to brush my teeth. The room smells terrible of stale smoke, but if you open the slider to get fresh air all you can hear is the freeway and the next door restaurant washing dishes.

Didn't like the lock on the siding door. no cups for a drink. pool looked grungy.Need grab bars in shower and bathroom where needed.Other than these few things we were very satisfied and slept well.

The ice machine on our floor was broken or empty for 2 days. Main light, only light in bathroom flickered on and off Surrounding grounds had garbage and cut down branches in lot. They offer a balcony but it overlooks junk. The first room had a “balcony” that was a slab of concrete surrounded by weeds and overgrown grass!!Could not understand the woman at the front desk. The cleaning staff opened our door at 10:00 - check out 11:00, if not for the deadbolt they would have been in room! The cleaning staff in hallways were unfriendly - rude. The bathroom in lobby was full of toilet paper and filled with poop!!! Disgusting!! The only good thing about this hotel is the location but the entrance to this place is weird and road is broken down too!

The room was spacious and quiet. The mattress was old (I could feel the springs) however strangley I slept fine. AC was good and didn't make.any loud noises. Extremely unkempt grounds and common areas. The giant spa tub was ridiculous and OLD. The fridge freezer was ild, the freezer part needed to be defrosted...it was a solid block of ice. The toilet ran and was at least a foot away from the wall. There was unfinished repairs (holes in the walls, unpainted areas, etc...). Carpet was old and stained. Quite possibly the worst looking room I've ever stayed in. And for $300 a night?!?! Wow. Do not stay there, not worth it.

I was in a room at the end of a hall. This room was directly above where they were power washing some stuff. Which was a power washer that was in a box truck, not your everyday washer. It’s was insanely loud and vibrated the wall and window. This went on until after midnight.

Reasonably priced hotel at a good location.

There was work being done inside and out which is good because it needed work. However the painting in the hallway was inconvenient and molding being installed was noisy. The room was dated but clean but the water pressure in the sink was non existent however the shower was much better. All of this would have been overlooked if when I requested tissues and 2 clean towels were delivered to my room. I never got them I checked out one day early. Your question about amenities is a joke there were none no coffee no blow dryer no soap I will not recommend this Howard Johnson's
