Rooms not the cleanest but beds were comfortable. Nice staff

The property was near everything we wanted to do. It was centrally located. Near the highway and close to attractions. Plan on staying here again

Great location, easy parking, and good price. Room was okay but bathroom was outdated and tub was dirty. Sliding glass door did not lock. Front desk attendant was friendly during check in, but we had no housekeeping during a 3 night stay. It was nice to have an additional sink outside of the bathroom.

The bonus is that there is a great Diner next door that serves breakfast all day.

Clean room and friendly staff!

This is the place I always stay when I'm in mystic. They do a great job.

Our room wasn't properly cleaned!! A grape peeking out from under the bed, pee in the toilet, a wet and dirty towel (looked like poop on it, YUK) hanging on the hook. Biggest problem, the shower was broken!! No manager around to talk too for a 2 night weekend stay. They did clean the room the next morning and later the next day they got a part and fixed the shower. We had room #233 and the beds were lumpy and fold to the middle, water stains all over the ceiling to stare at when laying in bed, carpet smells, a big stain in the tub, paint peeling on walls, old mini fridge with a broken shelf and other little things that scream PROPERTY NEEDS TO BE UPDATED AND FIXED! Front dest staff were nice and our waitress at the restaurant was great.

It was dirty and run down. Property was overgrown with weeds and hallway rugs were dirty and smelled. Door to bathroom got stuck to floor and friends room adjoining had no light cover on overhead lights by bed. Just the lightbulbs were there. Won’t be going back.

Run down and the property is a mess with debris from trash and construction. Every plastic chair in the pool area was broken, both chairs on the balcony were broke and couldn’t be sat on. Rocking chair going into the check in area is broke. Pool paint is peeling off inside the pool. This hotel has a moldy smell of smoke everywhere. Our sliding door had 2 locks and both DID NOT LOCK. It Felt dirty.

A musty odor permeated the first floorwing where the pool was. The musty odor in the room always hit you when ever you walked in. The room was clean but did not have enough electric outlets. The bathroom was dated and disappointing. The tub was difficult to enter with no safety grab bars. The non-slip mat was stained and sould be replaced. The shower head flow rate was weak. Water control handle did not fit properly it was very loose. The bed was the star, new mattress very comfortable slept very well. I thought my booking with Expedia was for $183 per night, when I arrived the price was $238. Maybe I miss-understood. I did not argue. Should but wasn't in the mood. Mystic Conn. in August is very expensive. The room was still priced under most other area lodging. However, value for the money was lacking. Parking was okay but the lot needs a lot of work. There were many pot holes and heavily cracked pavement. I will not stay there again.

the negative for me was the bathroom -- it was really out dated, grimey and kinda gross, getting into the shower made me feel like I wasn't getting clean, they only provided a conditioner which i realized after it was too late which made my hair greasy, tiny towels that don't cover anything, the bathroom door had a layer of white grime covering it as if it's never been wiped down or cleaned. The tub was gigantic and over 3 feet high off the ground if I were traveling with someone elderly they would not have been able to climb into the tub to take a shower. I hardly to get in safely and I'm pretty spry. a gigantic closet space and only two hangers? whats the point. the mini fridge was dented and rusted on the outside but still worked. i recommend bringing your own towels, soap, body wash, shampoo and wear your flip flops around the room. the location is excellent and the building was pretty quiet - overall I am hoping they are in the process of renovations on the bathroom to make this place a little more comfortable. the value is great but know what you are getting for the price.

We stayed for only one night. When we arrived to the room at 11pm it was about 80 degrees in the room. We couldn’t get the tv to come on. The shower walls were dirty. Only one ice machine in the entire hotel worked. Best part of our stay was the 10 percent off our breakfast at the Mystic dinner next door. Amazing breakfast!!!!!

We mainly chose this motel because of the price and the pool. For the cost, I still think the pool is a great value compared with some of the other accommodations in the area. If you’re looking for an affordable place to stay with access to a pool, it’s hard to beat for the price. During this trip, we also visited the Seaport Museum, which was a great experience and definitely worth adding to a Mystic visit. Overall, this stay was much better than our previous one. The motel is still a budget accommodation, but if you find a good price and want pool access without paying the higher rates of some nearby hotels, I would consider staying here again.

The main property was old and dirty, but our room was clean. They are doing some remodeling. Staff was pleasant, they didn't keep up with the coffee in the mornings.

The bathroom was not up to par, bathtub very dirty (room 125) but the room itself was very nice.

The rooms seemed to be freshly redone and were clean but the balcony door was broken when we checked in, the lock didn't work and there was a broken drop bar as the only lock which did not fully keep the door closed. The staff never answered the desk phone so I had to go down to the front desk several times to get the door looked at and when I asked for an extra blanket, it took over an hour and me going back to the desk to get it. There were no elevators to the second floor, only stairs so keep that in mind for anyone with mobility issues or heavy luggage. The pool was also ice cold to the point my daughter wouldn't go in. For the price, I expected just a little better.

This is a pretty basic HoJo. Not fancy. Front desk staff were friendly and helpful. Rooms were fine. The location was wonderful! Right across from Mystic Village, Mystic Aquarium, surrounded by restaurants, and close to downtown Mystic/Mystic Seaport attractions. The only negative I'd say was the pressure we felt from housekeeping to be out of our room when it wasn't even 11am yet. It was 10:55 and my son had forgotten his hoodie in our room (I had intended to go back in for a final room check as I always do) and the key cards had already been disabled. Had to go to the front desk to get one reactivated. Housekeeping was waiting impatiently as I gathered up the forgotten hoodie. Anyway, not a huge deal, just left me a little irritated. Overall, we'd stay here again.

The hotel is very dated and needs a lot of updating. Despite being a non-smoking room, the room smelled of strong cigarette smoke, which is difficult to handle when you’re a non-smoker. The bathtub had what appeared to be mold in some areas, making us not want to even step foot in the tub to shower. The hallway of the building is dark and run down. We definitely would not stay here again.
