Our stay was perfect. The rooms were clean and quaint. The staff were kind and attentive. Breakfast was delicious. Shopping within walking distance. The Friday evening wine and Hors d'oeuvres gathering was wonderful!
-
The bed was comfortable. The breakfast was good. The shower curtain did not contain the water and therefore water got all over the floor.

The perfect location to explore Napa and we thoroughly enjoyed our beautifully appointed and spacious rooms in the Merlot house. Such a treat to share with my sisters.

We highly recommend this beautiful property, impeccably decorated, delicious full breakfast, soaking tub and wonderful bed & linens! 5 star.

The room was very spacious, the breakfast was great and we love the wine social in the evening. Definitely would recommend. Parking can be tricky, but not a dealbreaker.

Quaint, friendly host, proximity to town No power points for devices, no space for things in the bathroom

This place exceeded our expectations. It’s charming and Runie is a lovely host. The location is perfect for walking to dinner, shops or train. We stayed in the Merlot house and it was quite spacious and comfortable. There was a small kitchen outside our room set up with coffee, tea and water which we utilized and was convenient to have. The patio outside is beautiful which we enjoyed for our morning coffee and evening glass of wine. The breakfast provided is the perfect portion of savory and sweet to start the morning. There was a complimentary wine social in the evening with a generous selection of wines and starters. Ariel greeted us for the social and was wonderful. We were a group of four ladies traveling and all thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. Runie and Ariel are great people and really made us feel at home. If you have the opportunity to stay here, definitely do it. You will love the ambiance.

Wonderful old house. Quiet. Themed rooms. Close to downtown. Lovely sitting area outside. Very creaky floors (to be expected obviously) and the driveway for the place is in a bit of a bad spot when there's traffic and sometimes hard to see if cars are parked next to the sidewalk. Parking in the back can be a bit cramped.

The staff was amazing! Easy check in and out.

The property is centrally located on Jefferson Street, close to downtown and Highway 29. The breakfast was excellent, the Charles House was beautiful. We stayed in the Merlot house, the sister property next to the Charles House. It is interesting, but not as nice. We stayed in the Barrel Room, which is interesting the basement.

We were greeted warmly the entire time. There was a great snack spread when we checked in and the breakfast was awesome! Beds were very comfy, I slept lile a log. It's in a super quaint set of buildings too. Nothing.
