The staff is great and always on top of house keeping. The building needs to be updated. Great location for everything downtown

Our room was not clean or well maintained. There were spiderwebs on the ceiling and walls inside our room. There were dirty greasy handprints all over the interior of our door. The blinds don’t fully cover the windows, and there are no blackout shades or curtains. The air conditioning unit smelled when we turned it on. There were multiple paintings or wall mirrors that were missing but they kept the nails/ screws to hang them in the wall. The woodwork around the doorframe of the bathroom had exposed nail heads. This was the dirtiest, most unkept hotel I’ve seen in Napa. The cleaning lady was very unfriendly and blocked the hallway with her cart. When we were trying to pass with luggage she made no attempt to move her equipment or apologize. We will not stay here again.

Excellent location, close to everything!

Nobody at front desk upon arrival. Sign said mandatory 30 minute break with no clock as to when the 30 minutes began. So unprofessional

We had a great time staying here. Is this a 5 star hotel? No. But our room was clean, the water was hot, the staff was warm and helpful, and we loved being in walking distance to all of our activities in downtown Napa. We consider ourselves to be pretty bougie but we would stay here again in a heartbeat.

Property was clean, perfect location from downtown. The only thing that was my concern was the cleans of the carpet would be nice if they would wood floors or laminated floors overall was a good stay friendly staff parking was great.

Rooms were clean and well stocked with shampoo soap etcetera...Also coffee items and mini fridge. Very central area. Everything within walking distance. We didn't use pool but could tell it needs repairs. Front desk person was very friendly and helpful even upgraded us to king size bed room.

Nice reasonably priced hotel for the area. Staff was very friendly and hotel was clean. It's also centrally located in downtown. You can walk to all the shops and restaurants.
-
The perfect stay from check in to check out. The front desk staff was super friendly and helpful, making check in easy and even suggesting local places to try. Parking was easy. The location was convenient and walking distance to everything, we never had to drive after checking in.

I would not recommend this place, it's old and dirty.
-
Great location, close to great restaurants and coffee shops. Very walkable. We loved Gary at the front desk! Funny and friendly. Old building. Shower stem difficult to use in rm 304.

Didn’t use. Small area, jail -like w tall black bar fence.

The Hotel served my main purpose which was a place to stay after a concert. It is clean and comfortable room. Parking was challenging, I was unable to park onsite because it is a very small lot, but I think in general downtown Napa is challenging for parking. So can't really say its this property. It seems to be par for the course. So that is a city planning thing.

Very comfortable beds.

Napa Valley Hotel & Suites is definitely an older hotel in Napa. I was by myself staying for a couple of nights. Staff was very friendly. Parking in the "courtyard" is limited. (But there's parking on the street). I didn't drive. So I can't say how much of an issue it is with guests who did drive. The rooms are small and the walls are thin. (Luckily, my very talkative neighbors left after one night!) For me, the queen bed was very comfortable, clean, and I slept well. There was also a flat screen TV and some meager, complimentary toiletries. Wifi was very weak in my room. The bathroom was a tight squeeze - a tub/shower and toilet. Outside of it were the sink/counter area. I had no issues with water pressure or temperature. There was a coffee maker in the room, including two coffee packs/ accompanying powdered cream/sugar/sweetener. The hotel doesn't serve a continental breakfast. (Although, being downtown, there are places within walking distance. And there are some really good bakeries not too far.) Considering its downtown location, the price I was able to get for a weekend was far cheaper than any of the other hotels I looked into. Hey, I realize there are a lot of picky travelers out there. However, if you're seriously watching your wallet, and don't mind a lack of chi chi accommodations, the Napa Valley Hotel & Suites isn't all that bad.

The staff was wonderful, especially Garrett at the front desk. This is the second time I stayed and it was like reuniting with an old friend.
