Motel 6 Naperville, IL

The room was a little tore up. I found a workman’s tool on the credenza. The television remote was missing the battery cover. The elevator’s buttons would not light up. The bed was nice.

We stayed at this hotel when we'd come through town because it was close to where our destination was. We will not do that again. When we went in the room, it smelled of smoke and mildew. The shower curtain had something all over it. The tub was dirty as well. The bathroom floor was sticky. The A/C didn't work half the time (it's like it had a short in it). The keys wouldn't stay active. Each time the desk clerk blamed us saying that the door must not be shut good enough. (Even though we were just one of the many that were having key issues that last stay.) The remote was taped together. And, just when I thought the stupid part of this stay was totally full, there was a neighborhood block party sound outside our room window all night. When we went outside the next morning, beer cans, soda cans, cigarettes were all over. We definitely will not be returning.

Good location in a good neighbourhood with lots of stores and restaurants around. Right by the highway. Dirty floors, dirty rooms. Rooms smelled musty, keep the window open. Toothpick found on floor and lots of hair around the legs of the beds and the corners. Floor not properly vacuumed.

The hotel is very old ,the bathtub is too much mold around an the toilet very old and donot flush propely.

When we pulled up for our stay finding a parking spot that wasn’t under 6-8” of water, was impossible. Complete joke. Will n ver stay at this place again

This is the worst motel I’ve ever stayed in. There was dog hair on every surface, even inside the pillow cases! We stayed for 3 nights and there was never any housekeeping, we had to take out the garbage ourselves, the lights didn’t work, the tv didn’t work and there was no lock on the door!! There was a roach in bed with us the last morning of our stay and we left with flea bites! The smell of wet dog was insanely intense and never got better. We had to go buy cleaning supplies and a candle. I’ve sent multiple emails with these and other details and the actual company is playing with me saying they can’t find our booking even though I’ve given them every detail they’ve asked for. I guarantee no one who works for this company ever stays in their own motel. It was unprofessional, unsanitary, unkept and now they won’t even respond or try to make anything right. It was so bad we didn’t even feel ok to walk in the room with our shoes off. Stuff stuck on the baseboards, floor wasn’t swept, roaches crawling on the room door to greet us, dirty mirrors, we literally took our valuables with us every morning when we left and kept them with us all day until we came back which is a good thing because they actually did enter our room with no notice or explanation one day while we were gone. The only reason we stayed was because it was already paid for and I was on a budget and couldn’t afford to just throw away any money. Please cancel Motel 6. They should be ashamed and embarrassed!

The bedding also did not appear fresh or as though the sheets had been changed from the previous guest. We were uncomfortable enough that we removed the hotel pillows and put our own bedsheet over the bed before sleeping. Cleanliness is one of the most basic expectations when staying at a hotel, and unfortunately this room fell well below that standard. We would not stay here again based on our experience.

Filthiest hotel I have ever stayed. Had to change rooms when I checked in because the bedding was dirty. Second room wasn’t much beyter

Room was dirty, bathroom smells like piss, toilet didn’t flush. Elevator was broken. Shower is short so for tall people it sucks, the bed was so uncomfortable my back hurt daily from it. The mold smell was bad from the ac. The coffee maker worked fine. Tv remote was hard to use because you have to point it at the box which is behind the tv almost on the floor. So changing channels was a task. It took maintenance twenty minutes to so called fix the toilet which didn’t really flush.
