Overall, the hotel was very clean and had great views. The area had great vibes and restaurants. The highlight of the hotel, like any other hotel, was the housekeeping staff, who were very friendly and helpful. So were the restaurant staff. The front desk staff were not very friendly but did address our questions and concerns. The cons were the hidden fees. On the first day, they told us we had a $25 resort credit to use at the restaurant. However, at checkout, you are hit with a 2-fold hidden fee. Unlike another review that says they charged for water, the water was “free” but probably built into those hidden fees. Room service is basically non-existent. I tried calling the front desk or the restaurant, but I couldn't figure out how the phone worked. So, I tried calling the front desk with my own phone, and no one would pick up. You would need to go to the restaurant during their operating hours to order takeout.

I am writing to share my feedback regarding my recent two-night stay at your hotel. I stayed at the Westin on July 14th 16th. While the hotel was in a convenient location, I was disappointed with several aspects of my experience. The bed in Room 527 was in extremely poor condition and should be replaced. It sagged significantly in the middle, making it very uncomfortable and preventing me from getting a good night's sleep. Additionally, the shower gel in the room was nearly empty when I arrived. As a result, I had to leave the hotel and purchase soap at a nearby store, which was an inconvenience that could have been avoided. I paid $593.46 for my two-night stay, and I expected a higher standard of accommodations and service. Although some members of your staff were friendly and courteous, I was disappointed by my experience with the bell service. As an ADA guest, I would have appreciated assistance loading my belongings into my vehicle after the bellman retrieved my car. Unfortunately, no assistance was offered I check out of the hotel on July 15th around 8:00AM, in the morning. I hope you will take these concerns seriously and use this feedback to improve the experience for future guests. I would appreciate your response regarding these issues. Thank you for your time and attention. Karen Ashton

I was a bit disappointed with this new Destination Fee of $25.00. It was explained to me that it was a credit for me to use at the bar or restaurant. When in fact, that was not the case. It was a charge of $25.00 that Westin imposes for unknown reasons. The front desk clerk explained to me it was a credit and then I verified by repeating the statement "this is a credit to be used in the Bar or restaurant" and he replied YES. I ate at the bar and when my bill arrived, I was charged for the food and beverages. I tried to get another explanation of this "fee" and got even more confused. So, with that, I will not be staying at the Westin anymore.

I dont like that you have to pay to park in a parking garage around the corner or pay $60 a day for hotel staff to valet park your vehicle. Also i didn't like being charged a resort fee and the property isn't a resort.

Worth every penny even though it was July 4th weekend. Very clean at the harbor and the surrounding downtown area. I give them a 10 just for the showers, hot and great water pressure .I recommend this hotel for a great relaxing getaway.
