Baymont by Wyndham New Braunfels TX

Last minute booking. Room was clean. Bed was comfy. A/C worked well. Feel the price per night was too high given the lack of amenities, but overall a solid place for a night’s stay.

Great location. We could see the fireworks from our room on the second floor.

Parking and size of room is my only good thing I can say. Room was not ready at check in time, Had a urine smell to it, blanket smelled, sheets were clean and smelled clean. Didn’t see any bugs but with the smell and look of the property I bet there are some. Trash in parking lot. Would not of even stayed but were exhausted and could not drive or think anymore. Left by 6 am couldn’t really rest. Until it is cleaned up BAYMONT name should not be on it, I was expecting better

Clean rooms and helpful staff

Room door locks difficult to open. Carpet worn with patches. Breakfast sparse. Facilities need upgrades if you to call it a Baymont. Should let customers know that you are calling a old hotel a new Baymont

It’s a very old hotel that needs to be refurbished

I was going to give them a decent review. I had prepaid my booking. When I got there, they wanted a card on file no problem. They gave us a different room because they said the room they were gonna give us was being remodeled. I woke up this morning to two additional charges on my card on file when everything had already been paid for I called. They said they’d let the manager know. I called back. It kept going to fax contacted Expedia. They told Expedia they would have to send an email and it’ll take 3 to 5 business days so they charged my card wrong. I had already prepaid and they are avoiding giving me back the money for 3 extra charges

Instead of getting any rest, I had to drive an hour and a half back home at 1:00 in the morning because there was no way I was staying in that room. To make matters worse, the hotel refused to give me a refund, even though we never stayed the night. This was one of the worst hotel experiences I've ever had. The lack of cleanliness and customer service was unacceptable. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone.

The front desk lady was really nice and friendly. Hotel was very clean.

It's a place to rest your head after a day of tubing on the river, that's about all

Stay was great staff was nice rooms clean and a decent breakfast options

There were spider webs in the bathroom everywhere. Ants by the door, the room smelt all like cigarettes. Overall it was bad experience and I wouldn’t be going back.

Unfortunately, this hotel is quite outdated and smelled very musty. AC did not work very well. Breakfast consisted of waffles, cereal, or fruit.

Good Parking area and really cold rooms.

We normally don't do "outside" rooms but we were in a pinch and need a room quick. Happiest of mistakes, the rooms were nice, clean rooms, and the beds were amazing! We will definitely keep this hidden gem in mind for next time.

The room was big and we had plenty of space for us and 2 dogs.

A/C kept the room very nice and cool

I stayed two night. Friday night got into room little after 6pm from riding a Slingshot in from Huntsville, TX My dog and I were tired. Showered, and went to sleep. Woke up at 11pm sweating. I think ac ran out of freon. Called desk within literally 10 minutes, he moved me to another room, ac worked so good I had to turn it up. Service was great, fast, and efficient.

The rooms were clean and the staff was nice. Older hotel but decorated nicely and the upkeep was good.
