Travelodge by Wyndham New Braunfels

Room was bigger than expected clean staff was friendly and parking was brightly lit and safe.

Great small family area with shaded barbecue area and swimming pool. Across the street is a cute family Mexican food place, an all you can eat buffet, clothing and makeup store, a cute small bakery right across the street from hotel

Don’t bother. Rooms were not clean , parking lot full of old furniture and trash.

I room at check in had some crystal type stuff all over. Two dead roaches or water bugs. Shower was not clean and hair in the drain. This place is gross, never again.

The room looked and felt like the Bates Motel. The only clean thing was the sheets. The smell was terrible, bathroom had barely any cold water, carpet was sticky, and the full kitchen looked like it was from the 1980's. The so called breakfast was terrible coffee. To top off everything, the heat level inside the room was worse than camping. It took 4 hours for the room to drop under 80 degrees. We were sweating as soon as we stepped out of the nasty shower. The front desk offered fans and told us if we needed more fans, that the Home Depot was right down the road. NEVER AGAIN!

Every time we are in new Braunfels we love staying at this one hotel you had a pool in a barbecue a small place to hang out with washer and dryer and cereal and coffee for breakfast shopping center across the street with a gas stations all you can eat buffet place kill Mexican restaurant and you can walk around and play Pokémon GO would you do Got Chili’s in the parking lot and P cherries

There was a bullet hole right beside the bed. There was something slimy all over the head bored. Cockroaches everywhere! Definitely needs better carpet or a deep deep clean!

DO NOT STAY HERE!! THIS PLACE IS BEYOND TERRIBLE!! The entire complex smells disgusting and dirty and the smell literally took my breath away as i walked into the tiny check in room in the front of the building / office. The guy checking in at front desk was extremely rude BUT to top it off, he came to the window to in his boxer shorts / tshirt; and was clearly under the influence of something. I decided to at least get myt room key and see just how bad the room was. Just as i expected, the room was filthy, there were bugs crawling on the ceiling, on the mirror, on the "clean towels" that were hanging next to sink and above the toliet. The sitting chair was ripped and horrible stains, the tv wouldn't power on (though it was plugged in), the room phone had no buttons nor a dial tone to call front office (but was "plugged in" to some outlet in the wall that was hidden). There were crickets and other bugs/insects that were so loud there was no "tuning them out". I knew there wasn't anyway that i could sleep in that place, went to front desk and turned key in, told the guy we couldn't stay in that filthy bug infested room and i would have called from room but phone doesn't work. The guy just took key, pitched it on the counter and just stood there staring. ABSOLUTELY THE WORST PLACE I HAVE EVER BEEN TO!

Roaches everywhere dead ones and at 12 o’clock at night after I got there getting off of work tired I took a shower and lay down and a roach crawled across my face onto my ear. The roach didn’t even care like I totally picked it off of my ear and it didn’t even try to get away. I was holding the roach in my hand.

Don’t do it. Not worth the money

They want in to the room n stole my glasses n when ask about it they didn’t want to help at all wrong people ever

Property exterior is pretty dated and rundown. The room was ok, just old carpet and no cable channels would stay on the TV. Breakfast was nonexistent.

The pictures were misrepresentative. The property was not well maintain. It was a lot of vacancy. The room amenities were poor.

Great location. Walking distance from gas station and restaurants.

Very pleasant. AC is cold!

I like that there was a pull out couch for kids to sleep in.

At first glance from the outside it looks a bit scary. However inside the room it was a different story, very clean, had all the needed stuff. Just the fridge didn’t keep our stuff cold enough. It was an ok, not really cold like a normal fridge.

Clean, comfortable, strong WIFI, good shower pressure. I stay here at least one night weekly. Very friendly and helpful staff.
