Great as always

Great location. Great Valet staff that were super helpful even if you want to self park. The lobby is very nice and spacious for gathering, and the restaurant/bar is great too. But in my room the shower did not work at all, and the room and provisions were run down, including threadbare towels. I only stayed one night, and when being ready to take a shower I didn't have hours to wait for maintenance to address the non-working shower. So no, I did not contact the front desk. When I checked out soon after, the front desk attendant said, Quote: "Well, other than that, was everything else decent?"

Superb

Location was perfect for the reason we were there. Short walk to the Stress Factory and lots to do and see in the area. Nice little town that you can walk through if the weather is good. I recommend this location. Restaurant was not open on Friday, but they did serve you at the bar/lounge area. Also, they had no steak available. Seemed like limited choice on their menu, but the burger was good and the staff was great, friendly and attentive.

The only disappointment was that breakfast isn't available. Since there are many travelers on tight schedules at odd hours, I was hoping for a quick option for a go to hotel breakfast.

Location The TV menu is totally fake. I could not watch BBC in there and then checked and almost half the menu doesn't exist. Two technicians came and no one could do anything. Carpets and bathroom not clean.

Plan for parking away from the hotel.

Needs new carpets and better valet parking process.

The spa The broken tv in our room. Watching on it was bearable but annoying and not what I would expect to find at a hotel like this one.

Terrible staff horrible bar and food

The hotel was very conveniently located for my visit to Rutgers, and my room was always very clean and tidy. The housekeeping and maintenance staff did an excellent job throughout my stay. I also want to mention Sela at breakfast, who was especially kind and gracious in trying to accommodate my vegan and gluten-free diet despite the limited options available. The gym is small but functional, and I appreciated having it available during my stay. Although everything was clean, the hotel and some of the furnishings are showing their age. The curtains in my room had some holes, as did one of the towels, and the corners of the desk were peeling. These are small details individually, but together they made the room feel dated and in need of some refreshing. Some of the gym equipment was also quite old. Breakfast was expensive, especially considering the very limited vegan and gluten-free options.
