Americas Best Value Inn New London Mystic

The only thing is it was covienent to the party i was going to. I waited almost 20 minutes for the desk person to come check me in. I rang the bell consistently and the ring bell outside, and they still just sat behind the curtain watching TV. Then in our room there was a roach crawling on the wall. The kitchen area is filthy. It smelled like a backed up Sewer in the hallway. When i called the front desk no one would answer. We stayed for two days but on the second day our keys to the room would not work. Then i was reading that no pets allowed and a gentleman comes doen stairs with a giant dog and walks right by, when i said something about it he said we dont allow animals to stay here, i said what was that then, he said he dont stay here. Very shady people. Do not recommend at all especially if traveling with children.

Kitchen equipment was very old, dirty and in poor condition. Due to my lack of mobility, access to room was challenging to navigate through entrance and hallways.

Room dirty, smelled, mold in the bathroom, shower head detached from wall wore white socks and they were black on the bottom after walking from bathroom to the bed.

We stayed just for the night so didn’t have to drive back but the place was just bad overall. The room and hallways smelt terrible, the room itself just looked down and dirty. There were stains all on the sides i the bed, dirty mirrors, TV didn’t work. Looked like mold stains and god knows what else all around the corners in the bathroom along with ants. Overall just a very dirty place!

Reasonable parking, after the police team working on a drug sting, moved their vehicles.... The entire property was old, badly kept and dingy. We were afraid to touch any of the furniture, and the chairs were literally falling apart if you tried to move them, or there were BIG holes in the upholstery

Room was dirty, hot water was inconsistent, wifi was very weak, stench in the hallway, strong detergent in room like trying to hide the decaying smell of a dead body....we couldn't compel ourselves to shower in that cesspool...gross.

Whole place smelled bad. Had to carry luggage up the stairs as there was no elevator. Bathroom door had a large piece torn off of it. There were stains on ceiling in the bathroom that looked like mold. And there were handprints and some questionable stains on the headboard. Thankfully was only there for one night but even that was one night too long

The pictures that are posted in the website did not match the rooms we were given. The room was semi clean but the bedding was stained and had holes. Was very disappointed that the pictures on the website was very different from reality. Hope they will be updated.

It was terrible smelled horrible sketchy people around beds were gross

The air conditioner was awesome! The room needed an upgrade. The stove was dirty and old. The towels were not the best. But I would go there again.The bed was comfortable and clean.

I booked America’s Best Value Inn in New London through Expedia, and it was the worst experience of my life. The room had a horrible urine smell coming from both the bedroom and bathroom. The bedsheets were dirty, the towels were stained, and the furniture was old, ripped, and in terrible condition. The whole place felt unhygienic, and we all started feeling sick because of the awful smell and filth. For the high price they charge, I was expecting at least a clean and comfortable room — but it was absolutely disgusting. I would never recommend this hotel to anyone. Terrible experience — stay away!
