Everything was fine and basic. The gym was ridiculously hot with no air conditioning just a fan! This was during a heat wave! I propped the door open but that is one way to sweat more.

Stayed 2 nights for a local convention and was very satisfied with the cleanliness of the room, there were no odd smells, and the linens were very clean. The only suggestion I would make to the cleaning staff is to be sure they put conditioner in the wall mounted conditioner containers in the shower, there was shampoo in the conditioner which was a little disappointing since it’s a very simple detail. Otherwise everything was spot on, lobby was clean, restaurant on site was descent, a little overpriced(not Holiday Inn restaurant, separate business but in the building), but convenient. I didn’t try the pool or the gym but saw lots of people using both and it looked clean.Overall great place for the money.

Wheelchair accessable room was clean and spacious. Staff was gracious at check in and out.

The restaurant had excellent food (best chowder in years!) and hearty selection of breakfast buffet, and a very friendly and helpful staff. There was confusion at check in but staff member was very helpful. Exterior could have used some help.

Checked all the boxes except the location was not in a walkable or close by entertainment district. Did have a bar and restaurant on site though.

Overall a fair 3 star stay. The room was a bit old, flat feather pillows were not for a good nights sleep at all and the chair at the desk looked like it had lost a fight with a pack of wolves. For the most part it was clean and ok. The staff were super nice and respectful. The restaurant in the hotel was phenomenal however. With some updating this would be a much better stay for the money, but I would certainly be comfortable staying again in the future.

First time going to New London Connecticut and stay at the Holiday inn it was a great experience like the area the hotel was clean, friendly staff.
