Red Roof Inn Mystic - New London

Very disappointing, pictures seem to be a different property. Very poorly maintained, room was dirty with ants covering the AC, black mold in the bathroom and the mattresses were only springs. Tiny room even with small beds. Only stayed one night - couldn’t take more than a single night.

Room itself was clean and fine for the money but it absolutely reeked of stale cigarettes.

It was very tight. My husband and I could not walk in between the foot of the bed and the TV at the same time. I believe there were people being housed by the city in this hotel. We saw people walking from the hotel to get across the bridge to New London every day. Construction workers may have been there as well. There were two or three large equipments in the parking lot. Our housekeeper was very kind and attentive to the room. Management needs to renovate and update for the price! No breakfast! Only coffee. I believe I might have chosen a different hotel than what I was looking at. Thanks!

I had a roach in my room the hotel would be perfect if everything was renovated and cleaned the ac went out in my first room and the second room the toilet would be not stop running all night ground maintenance was horrible I don’t know how places like these pass inspection but other than that no complaints just could be way cleaner

Absolutely nothing. The room was horrible. Walls and curtains were never washed or cleaned. Every time you flushed the toilet water leaked out of back used all towels to clean up. No phone in room to call downstairs to deal, outlets had no covers on them. Just completely gross. Absolutely nothing.

Old and not very clean, but it worked.

The entire place was disgusting. We had to change rooms because of stains and debris on the sheets. We were moved to a room with a massive crack in the mirror, a bathroom you had to stand in the tub in order to shut the door, smelled like wet cigarettes, the smoke detector was covered with a plastic bag. Stains and mold on everything. It was so bad we left a day early and found a clean hotel nearby.

Bunch of shit in the parking lot. Made me get a flat tire. The bunch of metal and stuff in the parking lot that made me get a flat tire. 3 hours in the parking lot bro.

Bed was comfy and convenient to the highway. Staff at the desk were very friendly Bathroom was falling apart a bit

Smoking

Nothing Horrible experience. Mold is just one of the problems. The bed had two massive holes in it so you couldn’t even sleep in it. There were ants and the phone didn’t work and the toilet handle wasn’t even attached to the toilet.

Has potential Front desk ppl really friendly Floor was not clean, room smelled like cigarettes Area is loud/people were loud.. dogs barking chair was gross.. pet scratches all over it. Not a “comfy” place at all. Not a nice vibe. Heat/air unit way too loud, kept going on and off!

Nothing Everything

NOTHING Filthy. Absolutely disgusting and unsanitary. Mold, pubic hairs all over the bedding and sheets, fresh stains that were unwashed on the sheets, drug deals out front. My kids brand new clean socks turned dirty within minutes. Music blasting and partying. Broken locks on my door. Reeks of marijuana

Comfortable bed, convenient location. Lots of ants in our room. Smelled like weed outside of our room. Staff was dismissive.

I liked it okay but there was ants in the room but other than that it was a good break to answer it too bad there was only a couple of them it was very quiet for the most part I enjoyed it and I look forward to coming back again Just a very small portion of ants in the room there weren't too many

Location was with a mile of where I needed to be, and access to and from I-95 was easy. Recognise that this is a budget establishment. The walls are thin, so if you have noisy neighbors, you may get an earful. Bring a good sleeping pill.

They're horrible

There was cockroaches and the staff is very rude and nasty
