Springhill Suites by Marriott Mystic Waterford

This property was better than expected. The room was spacious and clean, perfect for our family of 5. Very family friendly. Breakfast was delicious. Only cons - the breakfast only served pancakes on one of the 4 nights we stayed and the pool was quite small especially when the hotel is booked. The pool was quite crowded at times.

Accommodations clean, staff was cordial, breakfast choices above expectation, only downfall was that it was a very hot day/night, air conditioning in room was ok at best. Room seemed stuck at around 70 degrees, luckily it was just at sleeping temp.

It is an OK hotel, but it double-charged me, and after a month, it hasn’t reimbursed me yet. Their associate mentioned they had the same complaints from several guests, yet I had to dispute the charges on my credit card. Definitely don’t recommend.

Check in was super easy and hotel was clean. Breakfast was by far the best hotel breakfast i have ever been to. Loved how everything was individually wrapped and there were plenty options

Great location, clean, friendly staff Property and facilities were very run down. The rooms are in need of a refresh.

The room's were nice and clean. My only negative comment is that they didn't have any bottled water, so i was forced to drink water from the sink faucet. They told me it was under new ownership and their supply for water would not come in until the next day

A fantastic front desk staff was so helpful and friendly. Nice, very clean, quiet room ..generous .breakfast.

Overall the hotel is showing its age. The bathroom shower head hose had black mold on it. The AC had a hard time keeping the room cool.

Convenient and close to everything

Eggs were horrible

They cancelled my reservation and while they offered to rebook at a Hyatt for us I had to mar at least three phone calls to finally receive my rebooking reservation! I am extremely upset because I chose the hotel specifically for its location and I booked back in October of 2025! Then they cancel the two days before I am to arrive’ seriously! The lame excuse was technical issues which allowed for overbooking! I booked in October! Why did I get moved and then the other hotel was another half hour farther from my destination! I expect better from Springhill Suites!

Location Shower had black stuff on wall. Beds hard. Breakfast not great

Room had 2 queens and a big couch so it fit my family of 4, free breakfast, close to Conn College Run down interior. Loud fans in hallways all night probably due to damage but not told about, uncomfortable beds, peeling paint in bathroom, lukewarm shower temperature

The staff was friendly and the cookies were warm. Our room was a disaster, curtains were ripped and hanging down thus not able to close, dark stains on the carpet near the sink, moldy peeling paint in the bathroom etc. The outside is worn down and some windows have a permanent opaqueness. The property looks very tired.

Convenient right off the highway; nice breakfast options
