Water in shower wasn’t very warm. Staff was supposed to fix it but didn’t. Other than that it was ok.

No negatives about the property

Lastly, I drove to Nola, so I needed a place to park my car. They offer valet parking and that was nice. However, when the staff took my car to their enclosed parking lot (only employees have access to) they damaged my vehicle. I had a front license plate on my car before I left, and when it was returned to me, it was off. Forcibly taken off. And unfortunately, they make you sign a waiver that states “you park at your own risk” so the hotel managers refused to take responsibility for this issue. Parking is also REALLY expensive with them. So that’s another thing to consider. If you’re flying in and need a more inexpensive place to stay, I would say go with this place. Don’t park with them. They will not take proper care of your vehicle and they surely won’t pay for any damages or offer compensation for any wrong they do. And you may want to consider bringing bug spray to avoid being eaten alive by misquotes. Maybe a fly swatter too.

It's close to a lot of things in the French Quarter.
-
Good hotel in the basicly in the heart of the French quarter. Hotel is historic and staff is very accommodating. Right beside bourbon street if that's on your agenda.
-
Hotel was in the center of all attractions. Many were on walkable distance. No security concern walking during night. Like very much the old architecture of the hotel. It would have been great if a coffee making machine was available in the room, which i think is not a huge investment.
-
The guy at front desk was very nice and friendly. Linens not super clean and paper thin. Couch looked like it was on its last days. Overall needed updating and a good clean.
-
Staff was very good. Poor access to parking, didn't like not having access to my vehicle at anytime.
-
Check in was bery efficient, and done via email. Day of, i received the code to get in and my room #. I was allowed a courtesy to park my motorcycle in the guest parking. Sunday evening, I saw tourist groups taking photos of my motorcycle infront of the Hotel. I also took a photo and would love to share it.

Great location!!!
-
Especially since we needed to get to the airport.
-
The hotel is very conveniently located and it is easy to slip in and out. Also, they were very accommodating for my pet and there is a great dog park very close by. The room was very quiet too. It is a very old building as the historical description explains outside of the building, so it doesn't have the modern size or newness of other hotels, but it is clean which means a lot.

The gentleman at the front desk was amazing
-
Location of the property. Lack of up to date facilities with in the room
-
Well we got room 208. IYKYK. Loved the ambiance. The history, the courtyard was beautiful.
-
We had a great experience here. It was in a great location. The beds are very comfortable. Going into it, know the rooms are very small. ( I mean, it’s a very old hotel.) Leroy at the front desk is amazing!! The valet parking is so convenient. We enjoyed our stay there. (I know some of you want to know if it’s scary haunted. Our first night there, I felt someone tap my leg. I thought my husband did it, but he didn’t. Nothing else happened the rest of the nights we were there.)
-
Leroy was amazing & so helpful. The room was a little cold due to Air Con but the hotel was ideally located to Bourbon St, Frenchman Street & the River.
-
There isn't someone at the front desk after 5pm, but that's okay. You can park your car at their sister location, St. Pierre, since the Andrew Jackson does not have parking on their actual property. I recommend calling about 30 mins before you actually want to get your vehicle because it can sometimes take 20 mins to get it when requesting it for a specific time.

Great central location, comfortable bed. Quite tired and in need of some decorating
