Place d'Armes Hotel

it was a bit inconvenient to have to go to the courtyard to get ice (outside in the drizzle was not my favorite, but i didn't die!!) the vending machind was basically empty. that surprised me. I was really looking forward to a soda. We had hoped the bar int he courtyard would be open in the evening, but no such luck. Made sense because we were there during the week, not the weekend. betweenthe drizzle and the lack of refreshments (vending or bar) we did not get to enjoy the courtyear like we wanted. the location was wonderful!! we were VERY happy with the accommodations, the room, the service.

We were only able to stay here for one night. I wish I had been able to stay longer. This hotel was so cute and unique. I really loved the entire vibe. The pool was a little dirty with leaves and such. I understand that being directly under a tree can be difficult to keep clean, so that is understandable. The water fountain looked like it had a lot of algae, maybe that’s the vibe/look, just looked a little not taken care of. Our door, you could have absolutely just kicked in very easily if someone wanted to do so, however, we felt very safe where we were. The room was so cute, there was some natural light, but the entry area had no light at all, so it stayed pretty dark. I didn’t love that. The bathroom was great, other than the sink handle needing some work. I loved the room. Pillows were not my favorite, but I’ve had worse. If/when I make my way back to New Orleans, I will look into staying at Place d’Armes. The staff was incredibly nice, quick & efficient.

Great location, beautiful court yard and staff was very helpful. If you're looking for a peaceful spot, this is it! I will book this place every time we visit New Orleans.

The frustrating part of the experience came when maintenance came to look at our original room. Rather than listening to our concerns, the maintenance employee repeatedly argued that there was nothing wrong with the room and kept saying, “No, it feels fine in here.” However, he was standing directly in front of the air-conditioning unit, which was on the opposite side of the room from the beds. What could have been a very simple situation turned into an unnecessary back-and-forth. We weren’t angry, demanding a refund, or trying to cause a problem.

What an amazing staff! Everyone was so helpful with information. Our deluxe room with king bed was perfect for our stay in the heart of the French Quarter. Beautiful courtyard and nice little pool. We’ll definitely be back!

Beautiful New Orleans French Quarter architect and warm and comfortable appointed rooms. The onsite parking in the French Quarter was definitely a plus. Walking distance to Cafe du Monde and to Jackson Square and great restaurants was another plus.

This hotel is on St. Ann Street. Located down the street from Cafe Du Monde and Jackson Square. Awesome staff, they were very helpful with dinning suggestions and help making tour reservations. Able to give us directions where we were walking to. This is the place to stay. We will be back for sure.

The hotel is located down the street from Cafe Du Monde. Staff is awesome, very helpful and friendly. Stayed there for 1 week and would go back again. Also very quiet, had no problem sleeping.

The stay was amazing! We love the location, hotel & pool. However apparently the Valet was not included it’s an Extra $47 which I was not told. I was just told by the front desk to give my keys to the Valet guy & he would move my car which was convenient and great but i definitely wouldnt have paid $47 plus tip for each guy if I would have know that.

This place was amazing and encompasses the heart of the French Quarter. The rooms were clean and very cool. Right off Jackson Square it’s the perfect place to stay in the French Quarter.

This place is the best! Friendly and super helpful staff. I would come back over and over again!

Next time I go to New Orleans this will be where I stay!

Not only is this hotel beautiful and well maintained, but the location is wonderful! Staff is very friendly and they go above and beyond to make sure you’re taken care of! I had a wonderful experience! I will definitely be back! :)

Parking is reasonably priced and easy to get in and out even with the tight streets around. Car was definitely secure

The location was amazing and the property was interesting and historical.

Doesn’t include breakfast but I didn’t mind because I wanted to experience the NOLA food experience
