Our stay at the hotel was excellent. The staff was very polite and gave us a list of restaurants to eat at.

Loved the pool. Staff were friendly and helpful. Great location.

Overall, I recommend the Chateau. When we first arrived, we were given a room that had a strong mildew smell. We informed the hotel and they moved us immediately- they even let us pick the new room. The rooms were clean and well maintained. We enjoyed the pool several times. The courtyard is quiet- it’s so nice to enjoy the chaos of Bourbon street and come back to a quiet, serene and safe space. Miss Elaine was an absolute doll- just top tier personality and hospitality. I do have two suggestions- 1. new window dressings- the pull down shades let in a ton of light and it was extremely hard to sleep past 7. And I wanted to sleep past 7. 2. Make sure there is counter space or a cabinet in the bathrooms- there was NO where to store our toiletries from traveling.

Property was easy to get to and had parking lot just down the street. The hotel was very clean and my room was lovely.
-
Negative - Too much lighting from outside and inside hallway. Bed was not very comfortable. Needed a full length mirror (from my wife). Needs a place to put toiletries in bathroom.

The room was great and staff was even better!

The staff members were extremely helpful and kind. The room and hotel property were clean and very charming. The area is also convenient as it’s walkable to many popular spots in the french quarter. Overall, I would definitely recommend and would certainly stay here again.

They need to learn courtesy, good manners and improve interpersonal skills as front desk employees. Made me feeling I was at the DMV.

El personal es atento, pero sobre todo Elaine quien siempre fue muy simpática y estuvo al pendiente de ayudar con cualquier inquietud. No así la Sra de pelo blanco quien es sarcástica y presentá.

I will note that the age of the property means that sounds insulation isn’t really a thing. If someone comes down the road blaring their stereo at 2am (which will happen), you will hear it loudly. This was my only complaint. Otherwise, the staff were lovely. The property and rooms were lovely and clean. Loved it.

Great, safe, central location! Reasonably priced, AC was a little underpowered but manageable if kept on a low setting constantly.
-
Elaine made a point of personally taking care of me all week.

I had a wonderful time at the Chateau Hotel. It is in the French Quarter , easy access walking to many places. The staff is beyond awesome. I happened to be sick when I arrived at the hotel and I received royal treatment. NOLA is the place to go!
