The hotel itself was perfect, my only criticism is that our hotel was on the first floor where noise from the street would easily come into our room making it hard to sleep at night most nights
-
Staff was so friendly and kind. Very accommodating
-
Be aware self parking is in a reserved lot across the street from the hotel. Safe, no issues, although all spaces filled up during the week we were there. Addition per-day fee is charged.

Great location Small room

Ms. Elaine was very helpful in getting us checked in and to our downtown activities on time. The room was just perfect and very comfortable!

The property itself is beautiful, boasting a sparkling pool and a lovely courtyard that provided the ultimate retreat after walking around the hot French Quarter all day. What really sets this place apart, though, is the service. The front desk staff was amazing—so friendly, caring, and welcoming. We also really appreciated the peace of mind that came with the secure, gated parking that closes at 11 PM. We would absolutely stay here again!

The rooms were pretty bare. We stayed in one of the Petite King rooms. They had the bed, the bedside tables, and a set of drawers, but that was basically it. It would’ve been helpful if they had a chair for extra sitting/space to put more stuff down instead of on the floor. The walls didn’t have much on them, and the only mirror was in the bathroom. You could hear everything happening outside in the hallway, but it is an old building, so that is understandable. However, it did suck that housekeeping woke us up a couple times because you could hear them in the hallway. The staff overall were very nice and helpful, and the location was convenient. They will charge you $45 plus tax each night to park your car, and it is not guaranteed. It’s a first come first serve basis. If you’re looking for something simple and convenient to just sleep in, this is the place. However, if you’re looking for a more comfortable and luxury experience, you may want look somewhere else.

Staff was very nice and location is perfect for the price

Nice quiet pool area, close to major attractions but still in a quiet neighborhood of the quarter. No elevator and room had a hard time getting below 70, it was end of June and very hot.

The parking was very convenient to be right next to the hotel Everything was really great. Thank you

Clean rooms and nice staff - no microwave or fridge on the property

Overall this was a great hotel, especially for the price. The A/C was okay. The room never got below 73 (set at 69) but that was still okay compared to outside. Not having a fridge in the room meant that the only way to get cold water was to ask the front desk, and all they have is a mini fridge so very hit and miss if the water in there was cold. But at least they did give the water freely, and the staff was super friendly. Honestly the biggest issue was the smell. It smelled like there was a sewage backup. The hallway, room, and especially the bathroom all had the smell. The hallway and room did get better over time (or maybe we just got used to it). Everything looked very clean, so it wasn't that, just something happened with the smell. The hotel felt very secure as well with having to have a room key to even get in the lobby. Great location as well, if you're looking for a budget hotel in the French Quarter this is an excellent option.

Great stay thank you!

Although very close to the hustle and bustle of the French Quarter, this hotel provides a very clean and quiet atmosphere. Parking is easy, and amenities are spot on.

It’s a great hotel to stay if you’re planning on partying all night. It’s on a very busy road in the French quarter. You’ll peak out the windows and find ghost tour folks right outside. So close you can hear the stories being told 😳 It was very noisy. The rooms were great. Very small… but not bad. Walk to any shop and restaurant.

The parking was very limited. The only complaint I have is when I booked the room I picked the city view room and thought I would be able to sit on the balcony but that didn't happen. They had no other rooms to move me to.

Jennifer at the front desk was AWESOME! She was friendly, thoughtful, and thorough. The bed was so comfortable. The view from our balcony was the the middle of a tan 4 story cinderblock building across the street, so if you're looking for "the view," room 222 isn't it. There was no greenery, or decor on our balcony. Just 2 lame outdoor chairs and a small, dirty table. That was very disappointing. The worst part of our stay was the guy working the night desk. I accidentally left a bottle of meds in my car, which I discoverd was locked behind their gate by the time we returned from our spooky bus tour. I went in and asked if I could retrieve my Advil from the car, and the guy behind the desk was so angry at having to go out and unlock the gate for me. I asked if he happened to have any bottled water, and when we got back inside the lobby, he grabbed the bottle and when I held my hand out he dropped it onto the floor. He had enough of an attitude that I knew it wasn't an accident. The exact opposite of the lovely welcome we had earlier in the day from Jennifer.
