The hotel is really ran down... I didn't expect it... luckily I ask staff to transfer me ro rhe sister hotel... Lamonte hotel... ... I a better hotel to stay at... the housekeeper Brian assured me there was no extra charge to move to the sister hotel... the Inn of Ursuline... is ran down... it as hard to walk up unstable stairs... the door to room did not lock completely... as I told housekeeper Brian... I felt totally UNSAFE staying in the room at Inn of Ursuline... I really want all my money totally refunded... yet... I was able to move hotel... the Inn of Ursuline is extremely unsafe... I wanted to give 0 stars

So helpful and kind! Would recommend and stay here again!

My wife and I arrived a few hours before checking in, and the staff was kind enough to let us check in early. The hotel is conveniently located close to everything of interest in the French Quarter within walking distance. The AC unit worked great turning our room into a refrigerator, and that was much appreciated because the outside temperature was sweltering. Overall my wife and I were very pleased with our stay.

Waited to get into the property and couldn’t get help.

This was a good property to stay at. We had a few hiccups but the staff was very responsive and attentive. I would stay again. Check in and check out was very easy.

The location was great. Short 5-10 minute walk from everything, but far enough away for peace and quiet. It was quaint and perfect for a couple on a weekend getaway. I think we may have been the only ones there , which made it seem like our own personal hotel. The only negative thing was the shower was extremely small, like taking a shower in a phone booth, but honestly it didn't bother me too much, since we were only there for a couple of nights. Not for those who demand a ton of amenities , but that's not us. We found the simpleness charming. It wouldn't keep me from staying there again. We'll definitely stay there again.

The beds was very comfortable after a long day of walking around New Orleans.

My door was unhinged, need I say more?
-
Pictures are severely outdated. Room hadn't been cleaned in a while. Dead bugs everywhere. A/c unit blowing mold. Water damage on the walls and soaked my clothes.
-
Nothing Age. No front desk. No customer service. No parking. Paid 80$ just to get blocked out of parking all weekend. And received parking ticket.

We’ve stayed here several times and we love it, but this time the AC leaked all over the floors and wall and drenched my clothes so I got stuck wearing the same thing from the night before. The wall paint was like a bag of suspended water. So the morning surprise sucked, but we will be back again, just not to room 505.

Perfect location. Great spot
-
No fridge or microwave but great location and staff!
-
Parked on the street. No problem. A/C worked perfectly.
-
Great location. Safe. Comfortable bed. Spacious room. AC worked well. Check in is a bit awkward as the hotel is not manned. A fridge and microwave would not be out of the realm of reason for a hotel at this price point. Lovely courtyard. Overall a nice place to stay. I will stay again.

We travelled back to the Inn on Ursulines to room #501. The room was located off the street and was found not satisfactory. The 2 x bathroom electrical outlets did not work; you could not use the blow dryer. The bathroom mirror lights did not work; shaving was an issue; you could not see. The coffee station was situated by the wall; however there was no electrical outlet to plug it in. The iron in the room did not work. The 2 x electrical outlets by the bedside; requires you to unplug the light to charge a phone, etc. The room safe would not open. Encountered a cockroach coming out of the shower. Yes, the building is old. However, it appears there was no care taken or any quality checks made to the rooms before guests arrived. We both worked in the hotel hospitality business for 10 years. We understand the importance of customer service/customer care. We found the problems /inconveniences of our stay stressful. We hope the hotel issues we experienced get resolved for future guests.
