We booked the 2 level room and it was very comfortable. Loved the pool and the entire vibe

Staff was friendly. Location was perfect for walking around.

The location is perfect, walking distance to everything in the French Quarter. The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful and the room was clean and well maintained. The pool is heated and salt water with a bar staff that made their rounds every few minutes to make sure we had what we needed. Highly Recommended would definitely stay again.

My stay at the hotel was excellent, and I would recommend it to anyone visiting New Orleans. The staff was friendly, and the hotel was clean and close to everything.

Great hotel and staff

The staff was very friendly and went out of their way to help you! The rooms are very spacious for a older hotel and very well decorated.

Hotel was very nice. Room was nice. Just no chairs to sit in and no desk. Only place to sit was on a bed or a short little ottoman. Was very clean. Staff was great.

I prepaid for my room with Expedia and when we checked in, they immediately went to upsell me to a balcony room for $300 more per night. I declined and stuck with the room that I had booked. They immediately reduced the upsell to $200 for a balcony room on the 3rd floor on the Bourbon Street side of the hotel. It was very loud on the weekend, but closed windows and curtains managed to keep the noise to a tolerable level. I went down Sunday morning to request a late checkout and was told that a one hour late checkout with $50, a two hour late checkout was $75. The normal checkout time is 12:00, so that’s generous, and I guess since the hotel is not affiliated with any major chain, they nickel a dime you where they can. The “resort fee” was supposed to deduct $20 from my bar bill in the hotel, but that never happened. To be fair, I didn’t go back to ask for the credit, but I was told it would be automatically applied. It was a fine stay, and we didn’t spend a lot of waking hours in the hotel, but it left a bad taste in my mouth. I feel like they don’t get a lot of return customers, so they make what they can on your visit. It certainly is in the THICK of Bourbon Street and you can get anywhere pretty quickly. Just be careful of the upsells.

We enjoyed our stay and the room, the only downside was that the AC wasn’t cooling the room enough or at all. Outside of that, everything was excellent!

We loved it here! We were traveling with a 14 and 13 yo and was worried how close we were to bourbon street but it was great! We never really noticed the noise (we were staying during the week). The pool was great! Everything was super clean and the staff was amazing with giving recommendations and interacting with us.
-
We absolutely loved sitting out on the balcony. Only complaint was our room location. It was next to the dumpster so we were woken up every morning at 5AM by the garbage truck. Everything else was great!
-
The bathroom/shower was not clean, the rooms are incredibly small and there are no real amenities.
-
Hotel was amazing. Highly recommend getting a balcony. Just do it!

We have stayed in 4 hotel this week in New Orleans and the Bourbon was the only one that asked for $50 to check in early. We waited and then were given a bad room even though it wasn’t full. We were on the 2nd floor facing Bourbon st with the very bright lights shining through the no curtain windows and the load music . The pool was not inviting as it was salt water and looked like a pond , dark green. I’m sure if we’d had paid the extra we would have gotten a better deal. We just checked in to the Roosevault at 10.30 and was not asked for extra. Disappointed with this hotel as the experience could have been better.

The air conditioner was not working had to call the desk twice to get maintenance to work on it still was hot in the room all night worst night I’ve ever spent would not recommend this place to anyone
