I really enjoyed the room styles, the space, and the overall look. Perfect for taking photos! Room #5 has a comfy bed, but the noise can make it hard to sleep.
-
Room had Character if a little dated Keyless check in Bed was too large for the room, the bathroom fan didnt work and as british guests we didnt have the option to call without charges. Our email request to fix wasnt picked up during our stay

The location of the guest house is very convenient, the place is close to the city center but the imminent area around it is pretty calm and peaceful. The hotel doesn't have staff on premises, but Lee and Kit were quick to respond over email and attempted to solve the issue we had. The accommodation is located over a grill restaurant. The first night we came back home our room was full of smoke (visible, thick smoke) and smelled of rancid cooking oil. This issue repeatedly happened and no matter which combo of AC/open windows we tried, we couldn't avoid ending up in a smoky smelly room. Other than that, the room was a little more run down than it looked in the pictures, but nothing too dramatic. The unit in question was no. 6.

It was the absolute perfect location for nightlife, random encounters with fantastic people and all around mood. 10 out of 10 will book with you again. Drawing a blank. No notes!! Who Dat?!

I was confused about checking in and what room I was in but was able to get a hold of someone right away. The person not only helped me but stayed on the phone with me to make sure I found my room.

2. Super uncomfy bed (concave-like), we had to sleep on the very edge to get decent sleep. 3. Room and bathroom are small, very tight space 4. Poor sound insulation, we can hear the TV in our neighboring room and hear them coughing 5. Coffee maker didn't work 6. DEFINITELY not worth the price

Loved the Balcony. The location is fantastic. Lots to see, do, and eat right outside the door. Friction-free and pleasant. Quiet, mellow place with a bar and restaurant just downstairs. Pretty laissez-faire. No one is there. Which has its pluses as long as you don't need anything. Like frills. Or a bathroom fan that works. Or elbow room. But the price was nice!

The tv in one of the rooms is not connected so would not work.

Location was great. Walking distance to all we needed. coffee. Tried the stuff they had in the can. Was very old.

Staff responded quickly to all my concerns. Kitchenette was great to have!! Good hot water? Heavy stains on the upholstered chair in 2nd bedroom. Inadequate mattress cover that kept slipping off along with sheets. Rain blew in the balcony doors at the front of building.

The house is lovely and quiet, perfect location. No issues checking in or out, and it was a more pleasant experience than I've had at some hotels for the same price. Our mattress probably needed to be replaced; too thin and stiff. Maybe that works for some people but not for us.

Location, neighbourhood, free parking. Asked for a loan of toaster on first day, zero response from housekeeping, never did receive toaster from day 1 till departure.
-
Problems w TV Internet I was encouraged to enjoy the balcony and found it to be inaccessible and in disrepair
-
it was spacious and nice , me and my partner loved it.
-
I loved the balcony connection to the room and the classic Nola feel. The room was very dated and the bed in room 1 was extremely uncomfortable so we didn’t stay for our second night.

Location! No contact person available. Room and furnishings very worn.
