Pool and hot tub to chill in and around. Safe neighborhood to walk around, cafes and bars close by, French quarter walkable. Having to leave!
-
Great location for what we were doing and the customer service was great. No complaints
-
I loved everything; the property was darling and the staff was accommodating and lovely beyond belief!!! I wish there was a key pad w/ code to get into the property and main house. I did not mind a key for the houses on the courtyard but using the key at all times was a bit of an annoyance. Another issue was the level of chlorination in the hot tub; it tarnished silver and changed the color of suits right away!

Gourmet breakfast. Yum Tv

Kate, the owner/inn keeper was wonderful - reached out before our travels, and wanted to make sure we were accommodated. Kate's recommendations for dining were excellent, as well as places to visit. We had a wonderful time in New Orleans, and were glad to have stayed at the B&B. Breakfast was homemade, and delicious! Thank you Kate for your hospitality and kindness. Sending our best, and more,

This place was recommended to me by a friend and it was just as good as advertised. The innkeeper, Jonell, was welcoming and made sure I was made to feel at home - even making special breakfasts to work around my allergies. The location is great and it's a beautiful walk to the French Quarter and also in the opposite direction and down to the water. I would definitely stay again and will be passing on the recommendation to others. There are stairs up to the balcony suite but these were safe and easy to climb unless you have mobility issues.

The location The shower was way too small for a normal size person, and the bed was too hard. I had to kill a very large roach my first night, but didn’t see any more the other nights, but I did leave the lights on.
-
THe pool and the pool area. The breakfast,Never having the room and bathroom cleaned over the seven days I was there.Having to ask for clean, dry towels
-
Near enough to French quarter but far enough to enjoy peace and quiet. Quaint and well appointed Nothing
-
Exceptional home made breakfast Kate is super nice - we wish we could have stayed more! Definitely, we’ll go back
-
Quaint, historic, well kept. Felt like being invited into someone’s home! No dislikes!!

Owners are special and they are very attentive to details. You fill like home, or in the house of some good friends. The pool is great. Nothing to dislike.

A bed and breakfast is always an adventure. Host upgraded us to a king room. The room had French doors to the outside. Bathroom was tiny.
-
Funky, artsy neighborhood within walking distance to French Quarter and Frenchmen St. Music and food are everywhere. Great staff. If you’re a Westin/Marriot type of person it’s not the place. Take a chance on this place. Wonderful B&B.
-
Beautiful property. Staff was very accommodating. Expedia didn't notify them about our same day booking, but they were very friendly and got a room ready in short order. Breakfast was delicious. Highly recommend.

I normally do not rate places 10 - but this one has earned it. It is so beautiful, there is so much love and effort put to detail.. We really enjoyed being there one rainy afternoon. it feels like home away from home so quickly. The whole family is so committed to do the maximum for their guests, and the breakfast is outstanding in quality. We can and will recommend Kate's place to everyone planning to go to New Orleans. Bring your earplugs, the old building has very thin walls and you can follow a conversation from your neighbor. Our fellow guests were respectful and tried to be quiet in the evenings and early mornings - but I think this is not always the case.

Breakfast was lovely. Kate, Steve and Laura were exceptional hosts. I felt very at home and well taken care of. Location was excellent. It was perfect!

This is a really lovely bed and breakfast, with really nice amenities, including an in-ground pool and patio area. And I should point out that there is a daily breakfast included that goes beyond just cereal and pastries, there were egg dishes served while we were there. We got the Palmetto room which includes a private bathroom -- not sure if all rooms include that so make sure to check. The bathroom has a completely restored claw foot tub and old time shower attachment making it quite elegant. We were there over Halloween and the place remained quiet during sleeping hours despite being booked. You are ten minutes walk from the Frenchman neighborhood and there is a coffee house right around the corner as well. One of our favorite brunch spots, Horn's, is a walk away as well. The host is very responsive and quickly communicated by text when we had questions, including suggestions for places to drink and eat. While the tub is beautiful, it is a little slippery so be careful getting in and out. The shower water wavered from heavy to light flow, but was adequate for taking a shower, just a little slower

We had wonderful days in the Auld Sweet Olive. It is the perfect starting point to discover New Orleans. Quiet, relaxed and family-run. Every morning there was a different delicious breakfast and the pool was refreshing on hot days. Everyone was very friendly and I would come back to the B&B anytime if I were back in New Orleans. Nothing!
