Parking on the street but we got lucky! It's an old house but very quaint and excellent for our traveling family group! Lots of beds and space. However my credit card was charged even tho I had a zero balance. Reception could not see the charge but my bank did!! However my deposit came back the next day as promised so that was good.

The place should be condemned . They had a stand up air conditioning unit on cider blocks duct taped to an outside vent . The sheets looked to be 25 years old , dingy and yellow . The bathroom smelled as though someone had thrown up in it . No tv remote , room smelled horrific , dirty floor , all in all the worst stay of my entire traveling experiencing . Would not recommend to a homeless person !!

This place is very bare bones, but it certainly gets the job done. There were adequate security measures in place, and it is situated in a lively but safe neighborhood. If I needed somewhere to sleep in a pinch, I would do it again without much hesitation.

The location is actually wonderful. Right outside of the french quarter and the neighborhood felt completely safe late into the night. Me and two girlfriends walked our entire trip, to and from the hotel. Loved it! Keep in mind this is a historical hotel and the A/C is going to be more normal room temp or like 75F, not a modern 68F haha! Still super comfortable and we were happy with everything.

Great property. Wish it had a pool!

The toilet paper was so thin and cheap, it ripped apart when using the restroom

Main issue was check in was not done properly and when we returned from lunch on day 3/4 there was a lock box on our room door. We went to the front desk and they claimed we had no show’d our first night and had cancelled our reservation. We were interrogated about this until the employee who check us in verified he had not done that properly. Further they turned on the master AC for our room during this and we did not notice until late in the evening and was unable to fix this - the room was about 78 when we woke up.

Updated needed in room. Some guest questionable. Not noisy.

It was dirty and stained sheets in bad part of Neighborhood and had roaches crawling everywhere. The pictures are not how it really is. Would definitely not recommend to anyone.

I arrived at the facility few minutes after 11:00pm on May 27 2026. Surprisingly there’s no one in the office. No one answered my phone call. So no one check me in and give me the key. Upon complained to Expedia, the agent of Expedia claimed that the facility had email me the late check in details, claiming that the key was placed in the key box and left me a code to open the box. But I checked all my emails and found there was no notifications been sent to me. If there’s a software glitch in the platform/portal, then I shall not be responsible for the miscommunication between this hotel and Expedia, and I shall be refunded for a night that I didn’t used. Please kindly refund me the night for May 27 2026. Thank you.

    Good

I had a great time hanging out in the neighborhood. The inn itself was very basic but just what we needed. The only real drawback was the A/C was kinda weak but otherwise it was just enough to be comfortable.

At this point we’re scared because the people could’ve hurt us for trying to get in the room and I have my 10 and 5 year old. The front desk guy says,” I need to call the police as homeless are in these rooms 🤔, I’m so embarrassed I’m so sorry.” I proceeded to tell him we needed a refund(which he did) and I booked another hotel as fast as I could. Hotels. Com has yet to hear from me regarding this hotel. The scare and the inconvenience for my family was on another level. don’t STAY HERE

The staff were all kind and friendly, and they were able to help me with getting my a/c to blow very cold, and stay that way. I loved the location, as far as having several bus stops and a trolly stop in close walking distance. However, I think it's time for a total upgrade. I haven't used an actual key to open a hotel door in years. My TV didn't work for 1 day and a half into my stay, due to internet connection issues. I hurt my toes several times on that rod iron bed, and the ripped shower curtain and shower head left me wanting to take a bird bath.
