The staff is very nice and helpful. The place is colorful and cute. Great location: 15 minutes walk to the french market, safe and friendly street. We cannot hear the neighbors which is great. However the room strongly smelt of cigarette during the entire stay. None of us smoke so it might be from the neighbors but we had to live and wake up in it which is not great. Small basic accommodation, not ideal for big people, because there is hardly any room to walk around the bed and a very small bath/shower. Not ideal for families. The floor is not straight - it happens a lot in old buildings - but the exterior deck is surely in need of renovation - it felt it could collapse at any time. Holes in the walls and ceiling filed by diy jobs, The parking is not free even though the description in hotels.com says the parking is included... it's actually street parking so just like every other hotel otherwise you have to pay $20 a day. All this would be completely ok if the price per night was no more than $100. Would I go back? I dont know. But not at that price.

The mirror had a half torn off sales sticker from a grift shop still on it. The walls were all search and damaged. There was paint on floor and furniture. There was mold Iin the Bathroom and the first day there was a bug in the shower while showering. Ceiling fan was full of dust and the floor was filthy. The toilet broke the day we got there and they didn’t fix it until the next day, almost 24 later. So, the smell on poop/ pee sitting in toilet in heat that couldn’t be flushed permitted the room. Prior that, the room already smelled musty/ mildewy. One of The outlet covers was hanging off with exposed wiring. There is no one you can reach before 9 am or after 5 pm. While we were there, a couple received the wrong key to their room and when they tried to get in at 9 pm, there was no one to talk to. They called the number on the office door and no one answered,btw couple were in their 70s had to sleep outside because they couldn’t get in their room! The same night, another traveler whose flight got in at 6-7pm was sitting outside the office which again was closed and couldn’t get inhis room either. It’s ridiculous!

This place is old and rundown. They are not doing any type of maintenance on it. The AC equipment is not being maintained. The floors were filthy. The bathtub was filthy. The shower curtains were not hanging up but by a few shower curtain hooks. I spent four hours scrubbing my floor and my bathtub because they were filthy. It took two hours of cleaning the floor before the water ran somewhat clean out of the towel I was using. They do not man the front desk. I lost my key and needed to get in because I am diabetic and was having an insulin issue. There was nobody at the front desk. There was a note posted to call a number. I called the number and the person that answered was very, very irritated that I bothered him and proceeded to chastise me in a very loud voice about calling them when they just got off work. I told them I was calling the number posted and that that was their procedure not mine, and the person got angrier. I demanded that somebody come and let me in and instead they texted me another number to call and I called and that person came in was very helpful. If I would have been in crisis, it would’ve been bad. My AC broke and they had no clean rooms to put me in even after about a third of the rooms had been vacated that morning. The only option was for me to sleep in the second bed in a room that had been used and the room was filthy towels were dirty.. Don’t stay here.

My friend and I stayed at a hotel and we were surprised at how badly different our room was from the way it was presented online. Our room was extremely dusty, we found a torch for smoking crack under our mantle, our ceiling fan was attached to the ceiling with duct tape, and we found blood stains on one of our towels. I am also convinced that the two "guests" that we came across in the courtyard twice were actually crackheads that waited for the courtyard's security code to get a place to stay for the night. The dust, the crack torch, the duct taped ceiling fan, the bloody towels, and the crackheads roaming the courtyard.

Another important issue is the parking. The description states that the hotel has parking, but in reality, there is no parking available and guests have to leave their cars parked on the street. In addition, when I arrived at the hotel, I had to wait to be assisted because the receptionist had gone to the grocery store. This made the arrival even more inconvenient after traveling. Unfortunately, the overall experience was well below what I expected based on the hotel’s description.

I checked out at 7am and was no one in the office had to put the keys in the mailbox
