Canopy by Hilton New Orleans Downtown

The computer system was down and the staff did everything they could to help every customer. It took a while to get some people registered but they were great in helping everyone.

valet parking 7/10 had a problem with getting my vehicle but other than that everything else was perfect!!

The staff was really nice, the room was clean, but did have a sewage smell near the bathroom. Nothing major but just something to point out. Also valet is mandatory so be prepared to pay $50 per day for that, but there is In-N-Out privileges with it. Also, there is a mandatory $150 hold for incidentals that I have yet to get back almost one week later. Other than that, it actually was a really great stay and hotel.

Unfortunately, the room did not match the amenities advertised online. There were no complimentary bicycles, tour/ticket assistance, or mention of the terrace/patio or breakfast. The room was also missing a hairdryer, ironing board, Hilton Honors welcome bag, slippers, and the advertised Apivita toiletries. Instead, there were large refillable dispensers from another brand. The room had several maintenance issues: burn marks on the chaise lounge, a shower head with white buildup, a broken mirror piece on the counter, a stained towel, a nonworking mini fridge that caused my food to spoil, and a thermostat that would not maintain the selected temperature. Trash cans had no liners, and I was given an industrial trash bag upon request. The TV lacked HBO, CNN, ESPN, Hulu, and Netflix, and the bathroom was extremely cramped and difficult to navigate. While the staff delivered excellent hospitality, the room’s condition and missing amenities did not reflect the Hilton standards or the expectations created by the website. I hope management addresses these concerns to improve quality, maintenance, and consistency for future guests.

It was basic but exactly what I needed to rest my head after American Airlines left me stranded after canceling my flight.

Hotel grounds were great as well as the staff there during my stay. It almost felt like family, given how warm and accommodating the staff was. I would recommend this property to anyone looking to be near Bourbon, but not right in the midst of the noise. Oh, and the food downstairs was noteworthy!

Great hotel in a great location. Everything was clean and very comfortable.

The property itself was nice. It has been 2 weeks and still haven’t received my $250 that they took out at check-in. For this reason alone I would never stay here again!!!

Stayed here twice & i loved it each time! Always clean & the staff are very helpful & nice. The view from the room is great , & the hotel is very close to bourbon st, about a 5-10 minute walk. I will stay here everytime i come to Nola!

Found this hotel last minute when my other reservation didn't work out. Check in was seamless! Staff very nice! Rooms are a bit small but I loveeeeee the shower! Close to canal. Walking distance.. will probably stay here everytime I visit New Orleans!

The receptionist and bartender were so accommodating and nice! Truly loved my stay here!

The staff was very pleasant.

Staff were absolutely wonderful. Food and drinks great, bar staff great. Overall a great stay. Will definitely rebook for next time.
