Sonesta ES Suites New Orleans Downtown

The room was absolutely wonderful. Due to the hotel not confirming my request for late check-out, even though it was already payed for, I was denied access to my room earlier than expected. It was handled with no problem.

Tori, worked the front desk, he is very polite, helpful abd friendly. His hospitality is in the right place, I will return and hope I get the same welcome and experience that Tori gave me

The front desk personnel were very nice. The check-in process was easy and went quickly. Several bus stops outside the hotel, including the 202 line that goes directly to the airport. The $1.25 public transportation fee was better than a $64 Uber, and the only difference was that it took 13 minutes longer to travel. The furniture and room are a little dated. The hallway was under repair during my visit. I was on the 13th floor and couldn't see out the windows

Comfortable bed. Location. Breakfast. While the room could do with a bit of decorating, it has all the facilities required and a very comfortable bed.

Great location for downtown town, Superdome WWIi museum. Pity no on-site parking but options available close by. My only quibble - the breakfasts were over cooked.

I cannot recommend strongly enough to NOT use the Valet Parking. It is done by a third-party who may or may not bring you your vehicle in a timely manner when you try to leave. I waited an hour and a half for my car, and don't know how long it would have taken if the hotel manager didn't get involved. When I wanted to speak with the manager about the Valet Problems the front desk employee rolled their eyes and gave me multiple different stories. First he said the manager didn't work on Mondays, then an hour later he said the manager knew about the problems and wouldn't do anything. When I STRONGLY explained to the young man that the manager obviously DIDN'T know about the problem or they would be there talking to me, the hotel manager appeared within three minutes. Amazing, since I han been told she didn't work on Mondays. I received $100 off my room charges for all the problems, but I can't recommend this hotel the New Orleans.

They charge my card even tho i didnt stay at that hotel.

It wasn't a bad stay. The toilet wouldn't flush very well and the sink. And the kitchen kept dripping.
