Holiday Inn New Orleans - Downtown Superdome by IHG

When I arrive, the staff was rude and dismissive. The elevators were broken and my room was on the 12th floor. My room was nice and clean, but the rest of the facility was not. There was trash in the hallways, The pool was digesting and the water was extremely murky. It took 30 minutes to get to the lobby everyday. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone.

The Hotel was nice & clean. The staff was very friendly, The house keepers was very polite, We wasn’t ready fit them to clean the room, we gave them a time to come back & the did, did an awesome job!! This was my 2nd time staying & will definitely stay agin.

Room was 3,***, clean with average amenities.Small lobby with a coffee bar, restaurant and cocktail lounge. Staff Wes very polite and helpful.

This hotel is adequate, but is a touch run down. Bedrooms nice, but hallways are musty.

No luggage carts available, no vent fan in bathroom, shower water smelled a little funky .

Everything was great. The only issue was the wait time for the elevators. Only 2 out of 4 was working. Also, every room has a balcony but you can’t use it. Everything else was perfect.

Due to rain, which we regularly get in the area, three of the four elevators were out of service. While I understand things are outside of staff’s control, no one apologized for the inconvenience of having to use the stairs from the fourteenth floor. They also came over the hotel loudspeaker at 8 on Sunday morning to rudely tell guests not to overfill the one elevator. While the location was nice and the hotel was clean, I’d never stay there again.

The property overall was clean, however the pool water was dirty. During our stay there, the pool flooded there was a leak from the 8th floor to the elevator that caused the elevators to be inoperative. There was literally one elevator working for days. Guests were standing in the lobby longer than usual and my husband and I had to walk to the 14th floor because we literally tired of waiting for the one elevator. We stayed for 4 days and even when we left it was still one elevator working. Also I asked the front desk to send housekeeping to service our room. When we returned the beds were made, but they didn't change the sheets.

The rooms were very spacious and clean. The staff was very helpful and professional. Highly recommend.

Great hotel with nice rooms, perfect spot to stay for a recent conference. Within easy walking distance of everything I needed.

Overall, the stay at the hotel was nice. The room was clean and the staff were friendly. I hate that we have to pay for parking but that’s everywhere you go in N.O. No parking is free so don’t think you don’t have to pay! You will get a boot. It was a bad storm that came through and the pull flooded the 8th floor so didn’t get to go there. Especially with the elevators stopped working after the storm leaving us with ONE elevator. I had to climb 12 flight of stairs with my 8 year old daughter and down 12 flights with a heavy suitcase. Once we got to the 12th floor, the housekeeper just stood there on her phone saying she couldn’t let us in so I had to yell at her that the elevators were out of service. Like why would I climb stairs all the way to the 12th floor just to knock and look? If it wasn’t for the storm, this post wouldn’t be this lengthy. Lol. Other than night, great hotel.
