Element by Marriott New Orleans Downtown

I liked everything!!! The staff was super friendly, respectful and helpful, the hotel was clean, the bed was extremely comfortable after walking on Bourbon St. I enjoyed breakfast the next morning. I'll be booking again soon!!

MY DEBIT CARD WAS NOT EXCEPTED FOR DAMAGE DEPOSIT. THE FRONT DESK EMPLOYEE SAID HE AND SHE SAID THEY SENT A EMAIL TO ME TO TELL ME WHY I WAS NOT WELCOMED. I NEVER RECEIVE A REFUND THAT I PAID IN FULL. OR A EMAIL FROM THEM. THE MALE CLERK WAS RUDE AT TIMES AND LIED TO ME ABOUT MY REFUND..... NO WAY TO SEND THIS SERVAY.... NO COOL. ALL RIGHT SHE

All in all my stay at element was ok. Upon arrival I had a negative experience with Michelle that affected my stay. I was accused of already being at the property the night before when in reality I had just landed in N.O within the hour. After delayed flights and a long day of travel all I wanted was a smooth check in and to use the BR. I felt unwelcomed and honestly felt uncomfortable for the duration of my stay. I also called in advance to ask about the required deposit and was informed it was $80. Only to arrive and be informed it was $80 per night. I also returned to my room to find housekeeping inside after announcing myself multiple times house keeping proceeded to work inside the bathroom with personal items scattered around suite. I decided to check out earlier than planned to attempt to enjoy the remainder of my stay in N.O. Outside of those experiences element was an ok stay.

Decent hotel in a good location. The keycards had issues from time to time but other than that things were good.

We could not have picked a better location, centrally located, walking distance to canal street, and close to several parking garages. Breakfast was good, pleasant staff. They didn’t have a pool onsite.

Great views from room. Conveniently located to Bourbon and Canal streets. The property was very well maintained.

The Element by Westin was a cute and comfortable hotel. The room was spacious and immaculate. The manager Dasha, was professional and quite pleasant. The staff is young, and learning key lessons on the job. I truly appreciate the effort of the team that provided breakfast. They were helpful even when patrons came in late. Overall the experience was very good.
