DoubleTree by Hilton New Orleans

The lobby was well kept and had and inviting, relaxing atmosphere about it, the staff at the front desk extremely accommodating, personable, and friendly. And the warm baked cookie that was given at check-in was so delicious. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable, only wish there was a microwave in the room, but there was one conveniently located in the lobby's grab & go store, so not having one in the room was not a big deal. I only stayed for 1 night, but I left wishing I had spent all 4 of my Essence Festival nights there; next time I'm in NOLA, I'm making my reservations at Doubletree (300 Canal St)😃

Everything was great! I thought it was a continental breakfast but it wasn’t included. You had to pay extra for everything. Was great otherwise!!

great staff, pool was clean, 5 minutes walk to aquarium, river walk, street car stops, French quarter, across the street from passport processing facility, next to Caesars casino and most relevant, away from all the after midnight craziness, all day bad smells and morning cleanup crews noise (helpful if you happen to be traveling with minors) You can go have fun during the day and come back for a relaxing night.

Parking was 55$ a night inside but there were alot of parking garage options available

We enjoyed our stay. The location was great and within walking distance to a lot of great sites. The room was clean, & the staff were very courteous.

The property is in a central location, the grounds were well maintained and felt safe on the property. The rooms were pretty clean and nice

I have no complaints. The manager was great not sure of his name, but I do know it was his last day before he moved to another hotel. Everyone was great and centrally located.

There were good and not so good things about staying at the double tree. The staff was kind, the check in process was easy an they gave you warm cookies upon checking in. What i didn't like the air didn't seem to work well, no matter how far you turned it down. I had to use my hand held fan to keep cool at night. Upon checking out we were told approximately 15 mins to retrieve our vehicle we waited over an hour just to find out they never told anyone to go get our car.

Great hotel for the value but beware the parking is $55 per night which is pricey for the hotel price but it is the least in the area so don’t bother looking for cheaper

The hotel staff was absolutely amazing,they were super helpful with everything and we had to leave early due to my father in law passing away. They were super understanding and helped us figure everything out with getting a refund for the night we didn't use I highly highly recommend this hotel off the staff alone.
